Printer roll feed mechanism
A media feeding system comprises a driver configured to rotate a media roll in a first direction; a vacuum roller positioned in a media feed path and configured to rotate in the first direction; and a media end detecting sensor positioned in the media feed path, the media end detecting sensor being configured to detect a leading edge of the media; wherein the driver rotates the media roll in a second direction opposite the first direction in response to the sensor detecting the leading end of the media.

An apparatus and method for supporting sheet material, comprising a frame including a first arm and a second arm, the second arm in communication with the first arm to support a roll of the sheet material there-between, and a drive roller for transporting the sheet material from the roll. The first arm and the second arm automatically resize the frame corresponding to the dimensions of the roll of the sheet material to provide constant tension in the roll of sheet material by controlling a position of the roll of the sheet material.
ROLL PAPER HOLDER
A roll paper holder is provided which rotatably holds belt-like paper to be conveyed towards a printing section when a roll of paper is obtained by winding the paper on an upstream side in a conveyance direction with respect to the printing section. The roll paper holder includes a side wall section in contact with both side ends of the roll of paper in a width direction to prevent the roll of paper from moving in the width direction. The holder further includes at least one protrusion located outside a range where it can contact with the side end of the roll paper to be held having the largest diameter in the side wall section. The at least one protrusion is configured to protrude by a predetermined dimension from a portion contacting with the side end to control a position of the paper in the width direction.
PROVIDING A CUTTING AREA WITH WEB-LIKE INTERLEAVER MATERIAL
The invention relates to a method for a multitrack provision of web-like interleaved sheet material at a cutting region in which products supplied on multiple tracks are cut into slices and interleaved sheets are introduced which are cut off from the provided interleaved sheet material in the cutting region and for which a normal length is predefined which is dependent on the respective application, in which material webs are removed from at least two material stores which are each associated with one or more tracks; and in which the material consumption of at least one material store is impacted during operation, in particular in dependence on residual quantities in the material stores, in that the length of the interleaved sheets is varied in the respective track or tracks with respect to the normal length at least for this material store.
SUBSTRATE CONVEYING DEVICE AND DEPOSITION APPARATUS
A substrate conveying device and a deposition apparatus are provided. The substrate conveying device includes a transmission shaft, a plurality of conveying rollers, and a plurality of bearings. The conveying rollers are configured to convey a substrate respectively. Each conveying roller is assembled to the transmission shaft via the corresponding bearing. Each bearing includes a stator and a rotator. Each conveying roller is fixed to the corresponding rotator. The stators are fixed to the transmission shaft. A magnetic repulsion force parallel to an axial direction of the transmission shaft exists between the stator and the rotator. The stator drives the rotator to rotate via a friction force generated by the magnetic repulsion force between the stator and the rotator.
Spool holder and method of supporting spool of wire with spool holder
A spool holder includes a cylinder defining a longitudinal axis and having an external surface on which a spool of wire may be supported. A first plate is positioned at a first end of the cylinder and a second plate is positioned at a second end of the cylinder. Both first and second plates have portions extending radially outward from the external surface of the cylinder. The first and second plates both have a perpendicular orientation relative to the longitudinal axis. The first and second plates restrict axial movement of the spool of wire therebetween. The first plate and cylinder are stationary relative to a mounting structure, while the second plate is configured to rotate with the spool of wire. A mechanism urges the second plate and, thus, the spool of wire toward the first plate, thereby regulating rotation of the spool of wire.
SHEET SUPPLY DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A sheet supply device includes a support portion that rotatably supports a roll sheet, a drive portion that rotates the roll sheet supported by the support portion in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the fist direction, a first supply path to which a sheet from the roll sheet supported by the support portion is supplied, a second supply path to which a sheet from the roll sheet supported by the support portion is supplied, and a conveyance path that conveys the sheet supplied from the first supply path and the second supply path. The drive portion rotates the roll sheet in the first direction and supplies the sheet from the first supply path and rotates the roll sheet in the second direction and supplies the sheet from the second supply path.
Sheet supplying apparatus and printing apparatus
A sheet supplying apparatus, which is capable of winding a sheet tightly, includes a driving unit configured to cause a roll including a wound consecutive sheet to rotate in a first direction for feeding the sheet or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a sensor that detects a leading end portion of the sheet separated from an outer circumferential surface of the roll, and a contact body that presses the outer circumferential surface. Before the sheet is fed, in a state in which the contact body presses the outer circumferential surface, the driving unit causes the roll to continuously rotate in the second direction until a detection cycle of the leading end portion by the sensor is less than a predetermined value.

The invention relates to an apparatus for a single-track or multitrack provision of web-like interleaved sheet material at a cutting region in which products supplied on one track or on multiple tracks are cut into slices and interleaved sheets are introduced which are cut off from the provided interleaved sheet material in the cutting region, comprising an output device which is configured to eject at least one material web into the cutting region, wherein the output device comprises at least one driven feed roll and at least one counter-unit which forms a feed gap for the material web together with the feed roll.

A cutting device includes a fixed blade and a movable blade that slides with respect to the fixed blade during cutting, the movable blade having a first end that engages with the fixed blade at cutting start and a second end that engages with the fixed blade at cutting end, an urging member connected to the movable blade to urge the movable blade towards the fixed blade and a rotation of the movable blade in a first rotational direction, and a support for the movable blade having a shaft that rotates as the movable blade moves, the shaft having a center portion and first and second ends rotatably connected to the movable blade, wherein points of connection of the first and second ends are at locations that urge a rotation of the movable blade in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.
