Counter-rotating fin steering system for board sports
11452930 · 2022-09-27 ·

A steering system for a snowboard includes two binding interface pods, one of which may be active and one of which may be passive. Rotation or tilting of a top plate of the active binding interface pod in response to rotation or tilting of the rider's steering foot causes counter-rotation of a steering fin under the rider's steering foot. The passive binding interface pod is responsive via a linkage between the active and passive binding interface pods to cause rotation of a steering fin under the rider's non-steering foot. Coordinated counter-rotation of the steering fins causes the board to turn in the direction of rotation of the rider's steering foot when the steering fins are unaligned. Optionally, both binding pods may be active in steering, i.e. enabling two footed steering.

SET OF COUPLING ASSEMBLIES FOR A BOARD FOR BOARD SPORTS

BASE PORTION OF BINDING FOR SPLITBOARD WITH HOLDERS FOR ITS FIXATION ON SKIS
20220072406 · 2022-03-10 ·

A flat board as a base plate of binding for splitboards with holders for its fixation on skis joined into a snowboard has a circular slit formed in the central part of the board. The circular slit is equipped with a perimeter recessing for demountable fixing of a contact ring which is on its inner perimeter equipped with two couples of opposed dents designed for connection with a holder. The contact ring is also modified between the dents for insertion of end pins of locking eccentric. The locking eccentric is formed by an axial shaft with end pins protruding from end hubs formed at the both ends of the axial shaft.

Splitboard binding
11117042 · 2021-09-14 ·

The present disclosure relates to splitboard bindings. The splitboard bindings can be used to change a splitboard between a snowboard for riding downhill in a ride mode and touring skis for climbing up a hill in a tour mode. The bindings can have a first interface and a second interface configured to engage and disengage. The interfaces can be configured such that a binding has large clearances for easy transitions. The first interface can be configured with a locking mechanism. The second interface can be configured to remove large clearances between the first interface and second interface, when the locking mechanism of the first interface is engaged with the second interface, allowing the first interface to attach tightly to the second interface and splitboard to improve the ride of the splitboard.
