AUTOMATED DEVICE AND PROCEDURE TO TRANSFER AND THREAD A BEARING BAND
The invention relates to an automated device to transfer and thread a bearing band (3) on a fixed reel (2) from a removable reel (1), said reels (1,2) being joined and integral to corresponding shafts (4,5), wherein said device comprises a folding arm (6) adapted to perform a translational movement, which in turn comprises a hook (7) and a carriage (8) configured to move the arm (6) horizontally between both reels (1,2), and wherein the device further comprises a tensioning roller (10) adapted to move vertically through an intermediate column (11), such that it allows the first bearing band (3) to be transferred between reels (1,2) automatically in order to finally wind a second bearing band (12) with the first bearing band (3) onto the removable reel (1) automatically and simultaneously.
ROLLER DEVICE FOR GUIDING A FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE, USE OF A ROLLER DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING A FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE, VACUUM PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF PROCESSING A FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE
A roller device for guiding a flexible substrate is described. The roller device includes a support surface for contacting the flexible substrate, the support surface having a coating comprising an electronegative polymer. Further, a vacuum processing apparatus for processing a flexible substrate including the roller device and a method of processing a flexible substrate in the vacuum processing apparatus is described.
Method Of Wrapping A Rolled Roll And Wrapping Device
The invention relates to a method of rerolling a rolled-up material web, in particular a rolled-up material web of an elastic material on a rerolling device. Furthermore, the invention relates to a rerolling device for performing the method. The inventive method of rerolling a rolled-up material web of an elastic material on a rerolling device having an-uncoiler and a recoiler, with the material web being rerolled from a large roll rolled up on the uncoiler and having a diameter D to a section roll to be rolled up on the recoiler, and with the uncoiler and/or the recoiler having an actuator, is characterized in that during rerolling, the diameter D of the large roll on the uncoiler and/or the diameter d of the section roll on the recoiler are continuously determined and the performance of an actuator is continuously adjusted by means of this determined parameter. The terms “continuously determined” and “continuously adjusted” are not only to be understood here as an actually continuous, i. e. ongoing, determining or adjusting process, but also as one that takes place in discrete time intervals, the determining taking place multiple times during the rerolling process.
Method of making a coreless retail paper roll
A paper rewinding machine includes a rewinding assembly operable to produce coreless retail paper rolls.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECYCLING
The present invention provides an apparatus for recycling artificial or synthetic layered materials. The apparatus includes a first conveying section arranged to receive and unroll a used or pre-processed roll of artificial or synthetic layered material, in use, and at least a second conveying section arranged to receive and re-roll the subsequently processed roll of said material. The apparatus further includes a beating section located intermediate said first and second conveying sections, arranged to beat and/or agitate said unrolled material as it is moved from the first conveying section to the at least second conveying section, in use.
Methods and apparatus for a turn-up procedure using an adhesive paperband composite
Methods and apparatus to form tear-off paperband composites that adhesively attach a paper web to an empty web spool. In some embodiments, the paperband composite is applied in several layers to an empty web spool, each layer suitable for fixedly attaching a paper web to the empty spool. Multiple layers of paperband composite allow for use during multiple turn-up procedures with one layer of paperband composite used per turn-up procedure. In some examples, the paperband composite may be applied to a paper spool tangentially along the spool face and perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the spool. In other examples, the paperband composite may be spirally wrapped around the paper spool.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY DEVICE
An apparatus for manufacturing a display device includes a first roller from which a film member is unwound, a second roller around which the film member is wound, a flatness maintainer that is arranged between the first roller and the second roller and keeps at least one of an upper surface and a lower surface of the film member, flat, and a sensing unit arranged on at least one of the upper surface of the film member and the lower surface of the film member and detecting droplets dropped from a head unit onto the film member.
Rewinding machine
Rewinding machine comprising a drive unit (1) for supplying a paper veil (2); a winding unit (3) for winding the paper veil supplied by the drive unit into a coil (W) around a winding core (4), comprising a primary roller (6) and a secondary roller (7) rotating in contact with the winding core (4), and a pressure unit (30) provided with a rotating roller (A, B, C) on the coil (W) that is being formed; a core exchange unit (5) for ejecting the formed coil (W) from the machine at the end of a winding cycle and inserting a new core to be wound; separation means (11) for interrupting the continuity of the paper veil at the end of a winding cycle; means for winding a drawing flap (34) of the veil (2) on the new core (4) at the beginning of a new winding cycle.
Cartridges, Dispensers, and Kits For Dispensing Stethoscope Covers
A kit for dispensing disposable stethoscope covers is provided. The kit may include a cartridge and a dispenser for automatic touch-free dispensing of disposable stethoscope covers. The kit further includes a first spool having a roll of backing member with disposable stethoscope covers disposed thereon and a second spool for receiving the spent backing member after a disposable stethoscope cover has been removed, self-contained within the cartridge. The cartridge is inserted within the dispenser so that a user may insert a stethoscope head through a window of the dispenser to attach to a disposable stethoscope cover. The kit may further include a proximity sensor for detecting a user. Upon detection of the user, the first and second spools rotate to align a disposable stethoscope cover with the window of the dispenser in a ready-to dispense position.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PRINTING
A printing apparatus (printer) is provided in which a base material is conveyed by a roll-to-roll method and feedback control is performed on a tension imposed on the base material, and which includes a control unit, a first drive motor (front drive motor) configured to control a speed of conveyance of conveying the base material, and a second drive motor (feeding motor, rear drive motor, winding motor) configured to control the tension imposed on the base material. In a case where a conveyance operation for conveying the base material is stopped based on detection of a foreign object, and when a speed of the first drive motor is at a predetermined value or less, the control unit stops the tension control performed by the second drive motor.
