Automatic lapless butt material splice
Devices, methods, and systems for splicing a trailing edge of an outgoing roll with a leading edge of a replacement roll with a lapless butt splice on-the-fly during converting and printing production. A first strip of adhesive tape may be placed partially under the leading edge, such that a portion of the adhesive tape remains exposed beyond the leading edge. The replacement roll may be accelerated to match the speed of the outgoing web's movement, a trailing edge of the outgoing web may be cut free from the outgoing roll, and the trailing edge of the outgoing roll may be positioned over the exposed portion of the adhesive tape. A second strip of adhesive tape may be applied over the leading edge and trailing edge using a splicer roller timed to apply the tape when the edges pass proximate to the splicer roller.
ROLL REPLACING APPARATUS AND WINDING DEVICE

The first adsorption mechanism (22) comprises a first adsorption base (221), and the second adsorption mechanism (23) comprises a second adsorption base (231); the first adsorption base (221) and the second adsorption base (231) are arranged along a first direction and are configured such that at least one thereamong may approach relative to the other or be away from one another in the first direction; a side of the first adsorption base (221) facing the second adsorption base (231) is provided with a first adsorption area (2211) and a second adsorption area (2212) which are arranged along a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction; the first adsorption area (2211) is used for adsorbing a first material belt, and the second adsorption area (2212) is used for adsorbing a second material belt; and the cutting mechanism (24) is used for cutting off the first material belt between the second adsorption mechanism (23) and the first adsorption area (2211) or the second material belt between the second adsorption mechanism (23) and the second adsorption area (2212). Automatic switching of a first material belt and a second material belt may be achieved, which greatly reduces downtime and improves production efficiency compared with a manual roll changing method.
HIGH SPEED PAPER WEB TURN-UP SYSTEM WITH A PREPARED LENGTH PAPER BAND COIL
An improved paper band delivery assembly for reliable high speed delivery of a turn-up paper band across a moving web of paper being wound onto a spool. The turn-up paper band is made ready for a turn up procedure by coiling a predetermined length of paper band suitable for a particular machine and retaining the coiled paper band in a reservoir pending deployment across a spool for a turn up procedure. The paper band may be coiled via manual operation or via automated operation. Coiling apparatus may be modularly replaced on a paper making machine. The coiled paper band may be supported within the reservoir on rollers, pins, or other items conducive to fast and reliable uncoiling.
Information handling system display assembly
A method for assembling an information handling system display may include attaching a first side of a strip of double-sided tape to a display panel cover. A display panel may then be aligned with the display panel cover, and, when aligned, the display panel may be in contact with a release paper attached to a second side of the double-sided tape. The release paper may then be removed from the double-sided tape while the display panel is in contact with the release paper. A first surface of the display panel may be attached to the second side of the double-sided tape as the release paper is removed.

Splice Tape with Internal, Interlayer Separation Interface
A splice tape is provided. The splice tape includes two internal support layers bonded at interface between opposing inner surfaces of the internal support layers. The support layers are formed utilizing a process and/or materials that ensure that the two internal support layers separate cleanly and consistently along the interface of the two internal support layers.
AUTOMATIC REPLACEMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FEED MATERIAL
An automatic replacement apparatus for a feed material includes a discharge unit discharging a feed material to the outside, a pair of feed units disposed to be adjacent to the discharge unit and having a feed roll around which the feed material is wound, and a pair of material joint units respectively provided in the pair of feed units connecting a front end of a first feed material waiting in a first feed unit, one of the pair of feed units, and an end of a second feed material being transferred from a second feed unit, the other of the pair of feed units, to the discharge unit in a butt joint manner.
