12012299 · 2024-06-18 · ·

The unwinder includes an unwinding station, in which to arrange a reel to be unwound. In the unwinding station there is arranged a series of guide rollers, defining a feed path of the web material. There are also provided: a cutting member adapted to cut a web material coming from an exhausted reel; and splicing members to splice a trailing edge of a first web material coming from an exhausted reel to a leading edge of a second web material coming from a new reel. A pick-up device is configured to pick up the leading edge of the second web material from a temporary retaining element, carried by a transfer unit to transfer reels to the unwinding station.

Splice arrangement

The invention concerns a splice arrangement with a first and second unwinding unit for unwinding a finite first or second material web and a connection apparatus. The connection apparatus comprises a guide, a first preparation apparatus and a second preparation apparatus. The connection apparatus also has a first and second connection apparatus for connecting the finite material webs to form an endless material web and a table unit, displaceable along the guide, for cooperation with the preparation apparatus and the connection apparatus. The splice arrangement further comprises an actuation apparatus for actuating the connection apparatus as well as the table unit.

Subject matter of the invention is an adhesive tape (K) for on-the-fly roll changeover of flat web material (RB) wound up into rolls (R; B), having a carrier layer (K3), which comprises a first surface (K31) and a second surface (K32) opposite the first surface (K31), a first layer of adhesive (K1), which is disposed indirectly or directly over at least part of the area on the first surface (K31) of the carrier layer (K3), a second layer of adhesive (K2), which is disposed on at least one areal region (FB) of the second surface (K32) of the carrier layer (K3), and at least one predetermined breakage area for the areal splitting of the adhesive tape (K), where the predetermined breakage area is configured such that the at least one areal region (FB) comprises a surface coating (K4), which is disposed between the carrier layer (K3) and the second layer of adhesive (K2), where the forces of adhesion of the second layer of adhesive (K2) to the surface coating (K4) are greater than the forces of adhesion of the surface coating (K4) to the carrier layer (K3), and/or where the forces of adhesion of the second layer of adhesive (K2) to the surface coating (K4) are greater than the forces of cohesion within the surface coating (K4), wherein the second layer of adhesive (K2) has a deactivated bonding region (K6) on a surface (K21) pointing in the carrier layer (K3) direction.

Sheet delivery system and sheet delivery method using same

A sheet delivery system includes: a joining unit configured to join, to an intermediate section of a sheet being delivered from a delivery-side original material roll, an end section of a sheet of a standby-side original material roll; and an operation robot configured to retrieve the end section of the sheet from the standby-side original material roll and convey the end section of the sheet to the joining unit. The sheet delivery system is configured to set, in advance, a sheet retrieval position at which the sheet is retrieved from each of the original material rolls, for each of the original material rolls. The operation robot is configured to convey the end section of the sheet from each of the sheet retrieval positions to the joining unit.

Leader film on a ribbon supply roll

A ribbon supply includes a supply spool and a ribbon material wound onto the supply spool. A tack down bond prevents unwinding of the ribbon material from the supply spool. A leader film extends from the tack down bond, with the leader film having a length that is sufficient to allow installation of the ribbon supply and connection of the leader film to a take-up spool without detaching the tack down bond.

An unwinder of reels of web material wound around winding spindles (A), includes a unwinding station (13) with at least one unwinding member (23) to rotate a reel (B) that is located in the unwinding station and feed the web material toward a delivery path (E). Lifting members (51, 53) are provided to lift a spindle of a first exhausted reel from the unwinding station (13), in a removal position (PR). An insertion member (7; 33) is further provided to insert a second reel into the unwinding station (13). A pressing member (61) is arranged to press the web material coming from the first reel in removal position (PR) against the second reel in the unwinding station (13).

DEVICE FOR CONNECTING SHEATHS TOGETHER BY APPLYING ADHESIVE INTERNALLY, A CORRESPONDING ROLL OF ADHESIVE, AND A CORRESPONDING METHOD OF CONNECTION
20190022955 · 2019-01-24 ·

The invention provides a device for connecting together two flat tubular sheaths, the device including: a blocker (22a, 22b, 22c, 22d) for blocking one end of a first sheath, the blocker having means for opening an end of the first sheath; an adhesive-applicator system for applying adhesive to the inside of the open end of the sheath; the blocker being arranged to authorize closure of the end of the first sheath, once adhesive has been applied thereto, on an end of the second sheath.

The invention also provides a corresponding roll of adhesive and a corresponding connection method.
