DEVICE FOR REPLACING A COIL OR A CORE, ARRANGEMENT, AND METHOD FOR REPLACING A COIL OR A CORE

A device to replace a coil or a core. The coil comprises the sleeve-like core and a film wound thereon. The device is stationary with respect to a winding station at which the film is unwindable from the coil or windable onto the core. The device has at least one stand and a support arm that is movably situated at the stand. The support arm extends along a horizontally running first axis. The coil or the core is situatable so that it is movable on the support arm along the first axis. An arrangement and a method for replacing a coil or a core is also provided.

Reel handling machine

A reel handling machine includes first and second re-reeling assemblies coupled to a frame. The re-reeling assemblies each include a reel mount supporting a first reel and a re-reel mount supporting a second reel. The re-reeling assemblies operated to unwind a product strip from the first reel and rewind the product strip on the second reel. The reel handling machine includes a reel manipulator positioned proximate to the re-reeling assemblies configured to automatically remove the second reel from the re-reel mount after the product strip is rewound on the second reel and move the second reel to a remote location.

PAPER WINDER AND PAPER WINDING METHOD

A paper winder includes a first winding core that is provided in a first arm turning centering on a rotating shaft and on which the paper should be wound, a first motor that drives the first winding core, a second winding core that is provided in a second arm turning centering on the rotating shaft and on which the paper should be wound next to the first winding core, and a controller that performs rotation control for the first motor and a second motor. In the rotation control, after, according to the turning of the second arm, completion of the winding of the paper by the first winding core and after a position of the second winding core has reached a position where the paper should be wound, during an operation of a traverse cutter that cuts the paper near the second winding core, when a torque value of the second motor is equal to or larger than a torque reference value, the controller switches a control mode of the second motor from speed control to torque control and perform tension correction control for adjusting the torque value of the second motor such that tension of the paper falls within a target range.

THIN METAL STRIP WINDING METHOD AND THIN METAL STRIP WINDING SYSTEM

A thin metal strip winding method includes: a step of causing a thin metal strip to fly from a flight tube; a thin metal strip connecting step of connecting any portion of the thin metal strip flying from the flight tube and a leader as a ribbon, the leader being a to-be-connected portion of another thin metal strip remaining on a winding roll set on a winding roll rotation unit of a winder that winds up the thin metal strip; and a thin metal strip winding step of winding up the ribbon around the winding roll by causing the winding roll rotation unit to rotate.

A method and apparatus for the production of coreless paper rolls, including a winding phase on a central spindle of a paper web carried out by a main reel, until the formation of a wound paper roll, a phase of extraction from the wound roll of the spindle by application of a relative axial extraction force between the roll and the spindle, where the winding phase includes a first winding phase of a number of web revolutions on the central spindle performed at a first winding tension that is lower than the next winding tension.

STRIP MATERIAL COLLECTION DEVICE AND STRIP MATERIAL COLLECTION METHOD

A strip material collection device comprises a movable bracket, a rotatable bracket, a first panel, and two second panels. The movable bracket is movable in a straight line along a horizontal direction. The rotatable bracket is rotatable between two working positions around a vertical axis extending in a vertical direction. The first panel is rotatably mounted on the movable bracket and has a joining feature adapted to join with a reel for winding a strip material. The two second panels are respectively rotatably installed on both sides of the rotatable bracket and have installation features for installing the reel. When the rotatable bracket is rotated to the working position, one second panel faces the first panel for cooperating with the first panel to clamp and rotate the reel, and the other second panel faces away from the first panel to allow replacement of the reel installed on it.
