Article selection and placement assembly and method
An apparatus is disclosed for applying tags with attached elastic anchor bands onto the tops of objects such as bottles in a high speed packaging application. The apparatus includes an infeed assembly for feeding a web, a conveyor assembly that receives a web and conveys it along a path in an upstream direction, a rotating selector wheel, a placement assembly, a pair of rotating jaw assembles, a vacuum cup of the selector wheel, and stretched elastic bands over the tops of respective bottles being conveyed along a path below the placing assembly. The elastic bands then snap onto the tops of their respective bottles to secure the tags to the bottles.
Apparatus for receiving and discharging material such as waste vinyl
Provided is an apparatus for disposing a material such as waste vinyl, which is configured to collect and dispose of the material on a constant quantity basis. The apparatus includes a receiving part which receives a material supplied from an outside; a supply part, provided at an end of the receiving part, through which the material is supplied to the receiving part; a door part provided at another end of the receiving part and configured to be opened to the outside; and a fixing part formed at a location adjacent to the door part and maintaining the receiving part in a closed state until an internal pressure of the receiving part reaches a predetermined pressure level, wherein the door part is opened to discharge the material to the outside if the internal pressure of the receiving part exceeds the predetermined pressure level.

FEEDER
A feeder is provided with a pushing member that pushes the carrier tape against a rail, an engaging member engageable with indexing holes of the carrier tape, and an interlocking mechanism that moves an engaging member upwards by interlocking with the upwards movement of the pushing member. The engaging member engages with indexing holes of the carrier to restrict the movement of the carrier tape to the insertion section side. The interlocking mechanism separates the engaging member from the indexing holes of the carrier tape by interlocking upwards movement of the engaging member with upwards movement of the pushing member, allowing movement of the carrier tape in the conveyance direction.
Component supply device and cover tape peeling method
A component supply device supplies a component accommodated in a carrier tape including a base tape and a cover tape pasted on the base tape and having a length to a forward end thereof that is longer than that of the base tape. The component supply device includes a tape conveying part, a turning over correcting part, and a peeling part. The tape conveying part conveys the carrier tape along a conveyance path. The turning over correcting part moves the forward end of the cover tape folded to a side opposite to a side of a conveyance direction, to a position located ahead of a forward end of the base tape in the conveyance direction in the conveyance path. The peeling part captures the forward end of the cover tape, and peels off the cover tape from the base tape.
