Medium stacker and image forming system incorporating the medium stacker
A medium stacker includes a stacking portion, a rotary portion, a medium holder, a medium mover, and circuitry. The stacking portion has a stacking face to stack a sheet medium on which an image is formed. The rotary portion is configured to hold a leading end of the sheet medium in a sheet conveyance direction, reverse the sheet medium on the stacking face of the stacking portion, and convey the sheet medium. The medium holder is configured to hold the sheet medium when the sheet medium is conveyed by the rotary portion. The medium mover is configured to move the sheet medium to a predetermined position in a direction orthogonal to the sheet conveyance direction of the sheet medium while the sheet medium is held by the rotary portion. The circuitry is configured to control the rotary portion and the medium mover.
SHEET FLIPPING DEVICE
A sheet flipping device comprising: a flipping element rotatably disposed adjacent to a sheet receiving plane and having, in its outer periphery, at least two insertion slots for insertion of a respective leading edge of a sheet to be flipped; a sheet transport device configured for feeding sheets with their respective leading edges into the insertion slots; and a controller configured to control the sheet transport device and a rotary drive (54) for the flipping element such that each sheet the leading edge of which has been inserted into one of the insertion slots is temporarily restrained while the transport mechanism continues to feed the sheet, so that the sheet flips over, and the sheet is then dropped onto the receiving plane, wherein each insertion slot has a mouth defined between a peripheral surface of the flipping element and a flexible finger that extends tangentially from said peripheral surface, the controller is configured to move one of the insertion slots into a sheet receiving position regardless of whether or not a trailing edge of a preceding sheet has left the sheet transport device, and the flexible finger has sufficient flexibility to be deflected by a sheet which has its trailing edge still held in the sheet transport device.

MEDIUM REVERSING AND DISCHARGING DEVICE
A medium reversing and discharging device includes a discharger that discharges a medium in a paper discharge direction from a discharge outlet, a holder that holds and reverses the medium, and a driver that moves the holder such that when a first plane along a portion of the medium in contact with the discharge outlet does not intersect with a second plane along a portion of the medium held by the holder on a downstream side in the paper discharge direction of the discharge outlet a moving speed at which the holder moves is lower than a discharge speed at which the medium is discharged from the discharge outlet.
SYSTEM FOR CHECKING BAGS, VISUAL BAG INSPECTION MACHINE AND BAG CONVEYOR MACHINE
It comprises a first stage wherein some supply means supply some bags (1) to be checked,
characterized in that it comprises a second stage wherein the first visual inspection means or cameras (2) check according to a pre-established template if the bottom of the bag (1) is within said parameters, accepting it if it observes them and sending it to the third stage or rejecting it if it does not observe them, and a third stage wherein some packaging means (8) package those accepted bags (1).
Device for cooling adhesive applied to a surface of sack bodies
The device for cooling an adhesive applied to a surface of bag bodies includes a transfer conveyor and a cooling conveyor. The transfer conveyor conveys the bag bodies at a transfer speed to the cooling conveyor, and the cooling conveyor conveys the bag bodies taken over from the transfer conveyor at a cooling conveyor speed. The transfer speed is higher than the cooling conveyor speed, which is why the bag bodies are arranged overlapping each other on the cooling conveyor. Due to this higher packing density, there is achieved a long dwell time of the bag bodies in the cooling conveyor at simultaneously a high flow-rate of bag bodies through the device.
