BANKNOTE TEMPORARY STORAGE MECHANISM AND BANKNOTE PROCESSING DEVICE
Provided are a banknote temporary storage mechanism (400) and a banknote processing device. The banknote temporary storage mechanism (400) is configured to enable the banknote to smoothly fall without getting jammed. The banknote temporary storage mechanism (400) includes a frame (8), a first door (1) pivotally connected to the frame (8), and a banknote pushing mechanism (4). The first door (1) has an open position and a closed position. The banknote pushing mechanism (4) includes a banknote pushing member (44). The banknote pushing member (44) is movably connected to the first door (1), and protrudes from a banknote support surface of the first door (1). The banknote pushing member (44) is configured to, as the first door (1) rotates towards the open position from the closed position, to move relative to the first door (1) along a direction in which a banknote is disengaged from the first door (1), to push the banknote to be disengaged from the first door (1).
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR STORING VALUE DOCUMENTS, IN PARTICULAR BANKNOTES, AND STORAGE DEVICE AND VALUE DOCUMENT PROCESSING SYSTEM
An apparatus and a corresponding method involve storing value documents, in particular bank notes, to a storage device and to a value-document processing system. A stacker wheel is arranged to receive value documents and dispense them one after the other. A transport device is arranged to receive the value documents dispensed one after the other by the stacker wheel and to transport them in such a way that the value documents come to lie on top of each other in a shingled manner. A storage device for storing the value documents lying on top of each other in a shingled manner is provided.

Sheet stacker with sheet flipping confirmation
To ensure reliable and productive processing of printed sheets into stacks, a sheet stacker includes: a flipping device for flipping a sheet with respect to the sheet's orientation before being received by the flipping device onto a stack support or a stack of sheets on the stack support; a sensor assembly for detecting an out-of-plane deformation of a top sheet with respect to the underlying stack support or a stack of sheets on the stack support at least for each sheet added to the stack; and a controller configured to determine from data from the sensor assembly whether the top sheet was successfully flipped and stacked.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STACKING FLAT ITEMS
A method and a device for stacking flat items in order to form stacks with a predefined number of flat items by means of a stacking wheel has the following steps: a) introducing flat items into compartments of the stacking wheel, b) transporting the flat items in the compartments of the stacking wheel, c) removing the flat items from the compartments of the stacking wheel and forming a stack with the predefined number of flat items, and d) removing the stack with the predefined number of flat items, wherein, after introduction of the predefined number of flat items into the compartments of the stacking wheel, no flat item is introduced into at least one subsequent compartment of the stacking wheel, and repeating steps a) through d).
