Cashbox with latch arrangement
A cashbox is provided with a movable latch that is driven by a banknote to a blocking position if an attempt to phish a stacked banknote from the cashbox occurs. The latch arrangement is easily pivoted in one direction from a neutral position to a clear position during stacking of a banknote. If an attempt is made to phish a stacked banknote, the banknote being phished causes rotation of the latch arrangement from the neutral position to a banknote inlet blocking position retaining the banknote in the cashbox.

Sheet post-processing apparatus and image forming system
According to one embodiment, a sheet post-processing apparatus includes a supporting member and a plurality of paddles. The supporting member supports the trailing end portion in a conveying direction of a sheet. The plurality of paddles rotates around a rotating shaft independently from the supporting member. The plurality of paddles nip and hold the trailing end portion of the sheet in conjunction with the supporting member from both the sides in the thickness direction of the sheet. The plurality of paddles nip and hold the trailing end portions of the following sheets, which are stacked on the sheet, one by one from the thickness direction of the trailing end portion.

Paper sheet stacking mechanism and paper sheet handling device
A paper sheet stacking mechanism 50 includes a stacking wheel 52, a roller 54 that is disposed outward from the stacking wheel 52 so as to be coaxially aligned with the stacking wheel 52 and that is rotatable about a shaft 53 at a greater angular velocity than that of the stacking wheel 52, and a transport unit that is configured to transport a paper sheet to the gap between two adjacent vanes 52b of the stacking wheel 52. The transport unit is located such that a discharge position is disposed outward from the outer periphery of the base 52a of the stacking wheel 52 and inward of the circular region defined by the tips of the vanes 52b of the stacking wheel 52 during the rotation of the stacking wheel 52, when viewed in the axial direction of the shaft 53 of the stacking wheel 52.

BANKNOTE-SENDING TYPE BANKNOTE CONVEYING DEVICE
A banknote-passing type banknote conveying device, used at a banknote inlet-outlet of an automatic teller machine, includes a mounting lateral plate, a banknote stacking mechanism, a banknote clamping and conveying mechanism, a pressing mechanism, a jacking mechanism, and a central control unit for controlling the operation of the above mechanisms. The banknote-passing type banknote conveying device uses a lifting motor and a connection rod to drive a lifting plate to move the banknotes up and down, and uses a pressing plate to move the banknotes back and forth. The functions of stacking and passing banknotes are achieved in an effective space. Moreover, a pull type electromagnet and a spring are used to control the opening and closing of the banknote clamping and conveying mechanism, thus a traditional motor control method and the like can be omitted, such that the cost is low, and the reliability is high.
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A post-processing device includes a stacking portion on which a medium having an image recorded thereon is stacked; an aligning portion that is disposed on the stacking portion and that aligns a position of an edge of the medium; a drawing member that draws the medium stacked on the stacking portion toward the aligning portion; and a guiding member that is disposed above the drawing member and that guides the medium that is transported toward the stacking portion, the guiding member including a vicinity portion that is in a vicinity of the drawing member and that is recessed so as to receive the drawing member.
