The method for separating two successive stacks (PA. PB) of interfolded sheets comprises: once having released the formed stack (PA) on a conveyor (O), moving the two support tables (11, 12), one following another, in such a way as to fold the strip(S) of sheets hanging below the successive stack (PB) under formation supported by the pair of separator elements (14, 15), in such a way that, when the two support tables (11, 12) are brought to face one another or moved towards one another to support the successive stack (PB) under formation, an end flap (F3) of the lower sheet of the successive stack (PB) under formation is partially folded and hanging between the two support tables to form a grippable flap (L) for a facilitated extraction of the sheets from the pack (P) which is obtained once the formation of the successive stack (PB) is completed.

A paper sorting device includes: a stacking conveyor that receives continuously fed cut sheets to stack the cut sheets by sorting unit and that continuously conveys stacked cut sheets downstream on a unit-by-unit basis; and a stacker section arranged downstream of the stacking conveyor, capable of continuously stacking the stacked cut sheets conveyed from the stacking conveyor, at different positions on a placement surface.

Image forming apparatus including a discharge tray extension with rollers

A sheet post-processing device for post-processing of a recording sheet ejected from an image forming device in an ejection direction, the sheet post-processing device including: a first tray on which the recording sheet is placed after ejection; a push-out member that pushes out, in a push-out direction different from the ejection direction, the recording sheet placed on the first tray; and a guide member adjacent to an ejection direction downstream end of the first tray, the guide member supporting a portion of the recording sheet that protrudes from the first tray in the ejection direction. The guide member includes a resistive force reduction unit that reduces a resistive force that occurs due to contact between the guide member and the recording sheet, the resistive force hindering the pushing out of the recording sheet when the push-out member pushes out the recording sheet.

STACKER HOPPER WITH FEED INTERRUPT

A sheet stacking system includes a conveyor having a discharge end, a hopper at the discharge end configured to receive the sheets ejected from the discharge end and guide the sheets as they fall in a cascade path onto a platform associated with the hopper, the falling sheets forming a main stack on the platform, the hopper including a backstop facing the discharge end of the conveyor such that the sheets ejected from the discharge end impact against the backstop before forming the main stack, and a first accumulator having at least one first support extending through the backstop and shiftable from a retracted position to an extended position, the at least one first support being movable vertically relative to the backstop in the extended position from a raised location outside the cascade path to a lowered location in the cascade path.

SHEET STACKER AND METHOD FOR FORMING STACKS OF SHEETS

A sheet stacker including a sheet conveyor arrangement and a stacking bay, wherein sheets delivered by the sheet conveyor arrangement are formed into stacks; the stacking bay including a stacker platform. The stacker platform is provided with a vertical lifting and lowering movement with respect to a stationary supporting structure and is controlled to move downwards while a stack of sheets is formed thereon. The stacker platform supports a stack conveyor configured and controlled to perform at least an evacuation motion, to remove a completed stack from the stacking bay. The evacuation motion of the stack conveyor is oriented such that a completed stack is moved from the stacking bay onto an evacuation conveyor arranged under the sheet conveyor arrangement.

An automated high speed multi-bin card collation system that takes die cut greeting cards at high speeds and diverts them on a customer by customer basis into multiple bins. A series of diverters are included that actuate between customer jobs to divert and collate the jobs independently into the bins. Each bin has a retractable floor that allows the individualized jobs to be collated prior to dropping onto a conveyor system. The conveyor then conveys the collated card jobs to a downstream location.

Sheet bundle conveying apparatus and image forming system having the same

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sheet bundle conveying apparatus capable of discharging a sheet bundle from a processing tray where a binding process is performed toward the downstream side in right posture to a right position. The present invention comprises a sheet bundle conveying apparatus which conveys sheets stacked at a stack portion to a storing portion at the downstream side including a first conveying member which conveys sheets at the stack portion by a predetermined distance, a second conveying member which performs relay conveyance of the sheets conveyed by the first conveying member by the predetermined distance as being set to have a higher moving speed than that of the first conveying member, and a driving portion which drives the first conveying member and the second conveying member.

Sheet stacker module

A stacker module includes a lift table, a stacker configured to place sheets that are successively supplied thereto onto the top of a stack forming on the lift table, a controller configured to lower the lift table as the stack grows, a height-adjustable eject table, and an eject mechanism configured to transfer a completed stack from the lift table onto the eject table. The eject mechanism is height-adjustable for transferring stacks onto the eject table in different height positions of the lift table.

A SYSTEM FOR SUPPORT AND MOVEMENT OF A STACK OF INTERFOLDED SHEETS DURING PRODUCTION OF PAPER PRODUCTS IN STACKS OF INTERFOLDED SHEETS IN AN INTERFOLDING MACHINE
20250115453 · 2025-04-10 ·

The system for support and movement of a stack of interfolded sheets during production of stacks of interfolded sheets in an interfolding machine comprises: at least a support table supporting a stack of interfolded sheets under formation; a conveyor belt transporting the formed stack towards a work station. The support table is movable from a first raised position to a second raised position to allow formation of a complete stack of interfolded sheets and, after the stack of interfolded sheets has been completed at the desired height, is movable towards the conveyor belt to deposit the stack thereon. Translating means for vertically translating the conveyor belt and adjusting the position of the conveyor belt, and therefore the distance of the conveyor belt, with respect to the second raised position into which the support table is brought for the completion of the formation of the stack of interfolded sheets.
