A wheeled hand-cart configured to carry and secure ski equipment and accessories is described. The hand-cart is of the type where a user adjusts an attitude of the hand-cart for rolling travel so as to balance the load about a wheel axis of the hand-cart. The hand-cart includes a load platform extensive enough to carry ski boots as well as a large securable container. Ski mounts joined to the hand-cart carry skis outboard of the load platform at an attitude that provides for ample clearance between the tips of the skis and the user's upper body. The ski-carrying cart may include a voluminous securable container to serve as a mobile ski locker, and locking devices may be provided to secure the skis and the cart. The hand-cart is further configured to partially collapse to a narrow-stance mode adapted for rolling travel in narrow spaces.

An apparatus for use with board sports equipment is described. The apparatus includes a cover that is configured to assume an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. In the expanded configuration, the cover is configured to cover a bottom surface and edges of a board, such as a snowboard, and to extend upwardly and inwardly about a perimeter of the board to partially cover a top surface of the board when in assembled relation to the board. In the collapsed configuration, the cover is configured to be turned inside out and outer ends of the cover are rolled upon themselves toward a center point of the cover when in unassembled relation to the board.

Support rack and methods of making and use

A rack support and method of use. The support rack can include a plurality of support slats mounted to a support base. The support slats cooperatively provide a plurality of article mounting channels, and article mounts can be slidably mounted in the channels in order to provide a variety of orientations of the article mounts with respect to the support base. In one embodiment, the support channels are T-shaped, and the article mounts have T-shaped mounting ends that may slidably mount with the T-shaped support channels. Other support channel and mounting end shapes may be used. In some embodiments, the rack support may be used to store articles on a wall with increased article density, economy, reliability, safety, and/or usability.

An apparatus for storage, protection, or transport of sporting devices, such as skis, is presented, the apparatus including: a pair of tip engagement portions connected to one or two tail engagement portions by a strap. The tip engagement portions and the tail engagement portion or portions may be formed with an opening and an opposing closed distal end. Each of the tip engagement portions and the tail engagement portion or portions may include an attachment tab and attachment hardware for attaching the strap. Alternatively, the strap may attach directly to one or more of the tip engagement portions and the tail engagement portion or portions. The strap may include quick detach devices such as clips at its ends to engage attachment hardware, such as d-rings, on the tips engagement portions and the tail engagement portion or portions. The strap may include a shoulder pad.

An adjustable carrying pack includes a main body having an outer surface with an upper portion, a lower portion, and a rear portion. A first strap having a plurality of loops is disposed along a first side of the outer surface of the main body and a second strap having a plurality of loops is disposed along a second side of the outer surface of the main body. A bottom strap includes a fixed end and a free end having an attachment element. In a first configuration, the attachment element of the bottom strap is attached to a loop of the first strap. In a second configuration, the attachment element of the bottom strap is attached to a loop of the second strap.

A ski carrier clamp mountable on a cross bar of a vehicle roof carrier includes an elongate base part having a first end portion and a second end portion, an elongate top part having a first end portion and a second end portion, and a hinge mechanism having a guiding portion coupled to the elongate base part and a guided element slidably disposed in the guiding portion. The hinge mechanism couples the first end portion of the elongate base part to the first end portion of the elongate top part. The first end portion of the elongate base part and the first end portion of the elongate top part are configured to move with respect to each other.
