A seam tape tool that is configured to dispense a tape onto a top surface of a floor or surface protection material. The seam tape tool includes a frame, an optional handle connected to the rear of the frame, a tape holder rotatably connected to the frame, an application wheel that is connected to the frame and wherein the application wheel is optionally configured to rotated relative to the frame, an optional tape guide positioned adjacent to the application wheel to maintain the position of dispensed tape relative to the application wheel, a tape cutter arrangement movably mounted to the frame, an optional cutter guide to guide the movement of the tape cutter arrangement relative to the frame, an optional lock arrangement configured to lock and unlock said tape cutter arrangement in said retracted non-cut position, a cutter movement arrangement to move the tape cutter arrangement from the retracted non-cut position to the extended cut position when the tape cutter arrangement is unlocked from the lock arrangement, and wherein the cutter movement arrangement optionally includes a cutter handle, and an optional base slide or base wheel arrangement to facilitate in the movement of the seam tape tool over a floor surface.

A method of making a pad of labels comprises: printing display information on a top surface of a substrate; affixing a first layer of lamination material to a bottom surface of the substrate; affixing a second layer of lamination material to the top surface of the substrate, the second layer of lamination material having a release coating applied to a top surface thereof; applying an adhesive strip to a bottom surface of the first layer of lamination material, the adhesive strip being covered by a liner material; cutting the substrate having first and second layers of lamination material affixed into at least one label; removing the liner material to expose the adhesive strip after cutting the substrate into at least one label; and arranging the labels into a pad of labels.

The invention relates to apparatus and a method for applying a length of adhesive tape with a water activated adhesive coating using a handheld dispensing apparatus. The apparatus allows a first portion including a leading end of the said length of tape to be fed from a tape supply through a dispensing outlet of the apparatus by operating user actuation means to operate feed means of the apparatus and a further portion of the said length of tape is dispensed by causing relative movement between the apparatus and the said item and operating user actuation means to operate a cutting station of the apparatus to separate the trailing edge of the said length of tape from the remainder of the tape supply and the apparatus and thereby allow the length of tape to be adhered to the item, such as a cardboard packaging box.

A system for forming apertures in a flexible film is provided. The system includes a punching tool for forming apertures in a flexible film. The punching tool defines a through hole therethrough. The system also includes a support plate. The punching tool is configured to press the flexible film against the support plate to form the apertures.

An apparatus is provided for handling overlay sheet material on a cutting apparatus including a conveyor for moving work material in a longitudinal direction and a support for positioning a tensioner frame adjacent the conveyor. A tensioner frame, attached to the support, has a nip wheel and a drive for rotating the nip wheel with a tangential speed in excess of the longitudinal conveyor speed attached to the tensioner frame. The nip wheel engages the overlay sheet material applying a tension thereto in the same longitudinal direction as the conveyor.

In a method of operating a flat-bed die-cutter a printing substrate in the form of a web is fed to a die-cutting module of the flat-bed die-cutter, a web section is severed from the web and removed as waste. The web is guided through the die-cutting module and the web section is severed from the web in or downstream of the die-cutting module and removed as waste. A flavor dispenser device and a head mounting device including the flavor dispenser to enhance the user experience of a motion picture is provided. The flavor dispenser device includes a tape cartridge and a drive mechanism. The tape cartridge includes one or more flavor strips. The drive mechanism advances the tape cartridge inside a first housing, and the one or more flavor strip is dispensed from the first housing in case the drive mechanism is in operation.

A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a punch member configured to be rotatably supported and punch a hole at a predetermined position, a sensor, a driving source configured to rotatably drive the punch member, and a control unit configured to control the driving source. The control unit is configured to (1) control the driving source based on a punching gap distance between a last punching position of a preceding sheet and a first punching position of a succeeding sheet in the sheet conveyance direction, and a rotational position of the punch member, and (2) perform an avoidance process of avoiding a punching process of punching the hole in the succeeding sheet in a case where the control unit judges not to perform the punching process in the succeeding sheet when the succeeding sheet has reached the detection position.

Disclosed is a tape dispenser for cutting tape, while the tape is being unwound by rotation of a tape roll, including: a fixing part coming into close contact with an outer peripheral surface of the tape roll so as to fix the tape roll thereto; a fixing lever to which a given force is applied so that the fixing part rotates to come into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the tape roll; a rotating shaft connected to the fixing lever and rotating to come into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the tape roll; an extended part for connecting the fixing part and the rotating shaft with each other; and a close-fitting member disposed on the inner side of the tape roll so as to apply a given force to the tape roll in one direction.

An adhesive tape dispenser having a holder for an adhesive tape roll (2) and a guide system for an adhesive tape (3) pulled off from the adhesive tape roll (2) and a deflecting edge (10) for the pulled-off adhesive tape (3). Deflecting edge is arranged at the end of the guide system in the pull-off direction (A) and deflects the pulled-off adhesive tape (3) from the pull-off direction (A).
