There is provided with printing apparatus. A printing unit prints an image on a printing medium and is able to move. A cutter unit is able to connect with or separate from the printing unit, and, by following a movement of the printing unit, cuts the printing medium. A control unit, in a case where a predetermined condition is satisfied after the printing medium is cut by the cutter unit, causes the printing unit to perform printing on a succeeding printing medium, while moving the printing unit in a state in which the cutter unit is connected with the printing unit.

A tape dispenser includes a first arm, a second arm, a holder, a roller, a retaining device, a blade, spring(s) and one or more guides. The tape dispenser is positioned on a tape roll by positioning the holder on the inside of the tape roll and positioning the roller and retaining device on the outside of the tape roll. Tape is able to be pulled through the tape dispenser and then cut using the blade. After the tape is cut, the tape on the roll remains on the retaining device for easy access. The tape dispenser is also removable for use with many tape rolls.

A tape dispenser includes a first arm, a second arm, a holder, a roller, a retaining device, a blade, spring(s) and one or more guides. A cutting apparatus includes a blade configured to cut a sheet that is conveyed along a sheet conveyance path, a scrap path through which scrap generated when the sheet is cut by the blade passes, a guide member configured to guide the sheet conveyed, and a blowing unit configured to blow air such that the air crosses the sheet conveyance path from a side opposite the scrap path with the sheet conveyance path therebetween, wherein the blowing unit blows air such that the air flows along the guide member positioned at a second position at which the scrap is allowed to enter the scrap path.

A cutting apparatus includes a blade configured to cut a sheet that is conveyed along a sheet conveyance path, a scrap path through which scrap generated when the sheet is cut by the blade passes, a guide member configured to guide the sheet conveyed, and a blowing unit configured to blow air such that the air crosses the sheet conveyance path from a side opposite the scrap path with the sheet conveyance path therebetween, wherein the blowing unit blows air such that the air flows along the guide member positioned at a second position at which the scrap is allowed to enter the scrap path.

A sheet cutting apparatus includes a cutting unit configured to cut a sheet, a blowing unit configured to send air toward the cutting unit, a container unit configured to contain scraps generated when the sheet is cut, a scrap path configured to allow the scraps travelling toward the container unit from the cutting unit to pass through, wherein the scrap path is formed of a member provided with openings for allowing the air sent by the blowing unit to pass through.

A sheet cutting apparatus includes a cutting unit configured to cut a sheet, a blowing unit configured to send air toward the cutting unit, a container unit configured to contain scraps generated when the sheet is cut, a scrap path configured to allow the scraps travelling toward the container unit from the cutting unit to pass through, wherein the scrap path is formed of a member provided with openings for allowing the air sent by the blowing unit to pass through.

In accordance with an embodiment, an image forming apparatus comprises an image forming section configured to form an image on a sheet; a sheet discharge port through which the sheet is discharged; a sheet conveyance roller configured to convey the sheet to the sheet discharge port; a movable sheet guide, arranged in such a manner that an imaginary line connecting a portion contacting the sheet of the sheet conveyance roller with the sheet discharge port passes through a cross-sectional area, configured to be capable of moving in a direction away from a surface of the sheet; and a guide sensor configured to detect movement of the movable sheet guide.

The present disclosure provides improved tape dispensers that include a case featuring a pair of opposing main plates each coupled to two circumferential wall plates. The main plates, and corresponding circumferential wall plates, are rotatable relative to one another to expose a support structure for a tape roll. A cutting blade may be provided on one of the circumferential wall plates and may include a substantially arc shaped support surface.

The present disclosure provides improved tape dispensers that include a case featuring a pair of opposing main plates each coupled to two circumferential wall plates. The main plates, and corresponding circumferential wall plates, are rotatable relative to one another to expose a support structure for a tape roll. A cutting blade may be provided on one of the circumferential wall plates and may include a substantially arc shaped support surface.
