Printer, information processing device, and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium recording an information processing program
A printer that improves user convenience for rotating collation printing is provided. In a printer having a rotating collation function, multiple paper feed ports configured to feed paper, an acquisition unit configured to acquire a user request, and a setting unit configured to enable or disable the rotating collation function, the setting unit sets the rotating collation function to enabled when the acquisition unit acquires a user request to enable the rotating collation function, a first paper of a specified size that is fed in a landscape orientation and a second paper of the specified size that is fed in a portrait orientation are set in multiple paper feed ports, and paper feed port selection is set to automatic.
Method for producing collections of printed products, and device for carrying out said method
In a method for producing a collection of pre-products by wrapping a second pre-product around a first pre-product, it is provided according to the invention that said method comprises a number of steps. In one step, a first pre-product is provided, which has an edge region. In another step, a second pre-product is provided. In a further step, the second pre-product is conveyed into a wrapping position. In a further step, the first pre-product is conveyed, with the edge region in front, against the second pre-product located in the wrapping position, as a result of which a wrapping operation is initiated on the second pre-product.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND CONTROL PROGRAM FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: an image former that forms an image on a sheet-like recording medium; a cutting processor that cuts, into divided areas, a recording medium conveyed from the image former; a reversing processor having a function to reverse the recording medium cut by the cutting processor; and an image forming data generator that generates image forming data, wherein the image forming data generator generates, the image forming data in which the images are imposed on a front surface and a back surface of the recording medium before the cutting, the image former forms the images on the front surface and the back surface of the recording medium based on the image forming data, and the reversing processor aligns the cutoff sides of the recording media after the cutting, by executing front-back reversal for some of the recording media cut into sheets by the cutting processor.
Post-processing apparatus, control method therefor, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A post-processing apparatus connectable to an image forming apparatus which performs a post-processing on a sheet of a first type in a first post-processing mode, and performs the post-processing on a sheet of a second type having a light transmittance higher than the first type in a second post-processing mode, wherein, in a case where a job for performing the post-processing on a sheet of a third type is executed, the post-processing apparatus determines whether the sheet of the third type is detectable by the sheet detecting unit, operates in the first post-processing mode when the sheet of the third type is determined to be detectable by the sheet detecting unit, and operates in the second post-processing mode when the sheet of the third type is determined to be undetectable by the sheet detecting unit.

WEB MATERIAL APPLICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for cutting a web material and applying the web material on a substrate. The system comprises a feed roll configured to advance a web material. The system includes an anvil roll configured to receive the web material from the feed roll and provide a section of web material having a defined length. The system includes a cutting element configured to cut the web material to form the section of web material. The anvil roll is configured such that the anvil roll surface advances at an anvil roll surface speed. The feed roll is configured to rotate at a first feed roll surface speed that is slower than the anvil roll surface speed and a second feed roll surface speed that is substantially the same as the anvil roll surface speed when the cutting element cuts the web material.
MOUNT APPARATUS TO BE MOUNTED ON MAIN BODY OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING MOUNT APPARATUS
A mount apparatus to be mounted on a top surface, in a vertical direction, of a main body of an image forming apparatus configured to form an image on a sheet, includes a latch member extending toward the main body from a surface facing the top surface of the main body and being rotatable around a rotational axis extending in a direction along a direction orthogonal to the vertical direction, and a biasing member configured to bias the latch member in a predetermined rotation direction. The latch member is inserted into the main body through an opening that is provided on the top surface of the main body and is engaged with the main body by a biasing force of the biasing member in a state where the mount apparatus is mounted on the main body.
