Sheet processing device and image forming system incorporating the sheet processing device
A sheet processing device includes a first conveyance passage, a first conveyor, a second conveyor, a folder, a second conveyance passage, and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to (1) cause the first conveyor and the second conveyor to convey the sheet nipping the sheet to warp the sheet between the first conveyor and the second conveyor, (2) guide the warped sheet to form a first fold on the sheet by the folder and circulate the sheet to the first conveyance passage, (3) cause the first conveyor and the second conveyor to convey the sheet while nipping the sheet again to warp the sheet between the first conveyor and the second conveyor, (4) guide the warped sheet to form a second fold on the sheet by the folder, and (5) cause the second conveyor to convey the sheet with the first fold and the second fold.
FOLDED BROCHURE WITH INTERNAL POUCH, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BROCHURES
A brochure is made by folding a single sheet of paper along a plurality of parallel longitudinal fold lines to make an interim piece. The interim piece is conveyed in the direction of the longitudinal fold lines, and folded in a right-angle direction transverse to the first direction, along transverse fold lines perpendicular to the longitudinal fold lines. A pouch is placed inside of the interim piece without adhesive, as the interim piece is folded, and the interim piece is sealed to complete the brochure. The pouch is preferably placed over one of the transverse fold lines. A label can be applied to the brochure if desired.

Sheet processing apparatus, image forming system, and pair of rotating members
A sheet processing apparatus includes a rotating member, a switching unit, and a pressing unit. The rotating member is rotatable and has a facing portion that faces a fold section of a sheet. The rotating member rotates so as to switch the facing portion to another facing portion. Each facing portion is provided with a protrusion. A set position of the protrusion in an axial direction varies from facing portion to facing portion. The switching unit rotates the rotating member so as to switch the facing portion that faces the fold section. The pressing unit presses the protrusion of the facing portion against the fold section.

Sheet post-processing device
A sheet post-processing device includes a folding portion, a discharge portion, a stacking tray, a shift unit, a pair of alignment members, and a controller. The pair of alignment members include first and second alignment members at one and the other side of sheets stacked on the stacking tray. When a sheet bundle sorted and stacked on the stacking tray includes a folded sheet, executes a second alignment mode in which it performs, for sheets shifted to a first position at one side on the stacking tray, alignment with only the first alignment member and, for sheets shifted to a second position at the other side, alignment with only the second alignment member, or does not perform alignment process.
SHEET POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a sheet post-processing apparatus includes: a standby unit configured to put a sheet on standby, the standby unit including a tray member on which the sheet is placed; a corrugation forming unit configured to form a corrugation in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction on the sheet in the standby unit, the corrugation forming unit integrally provided with the tray member; and a processing unit disposed below the standby unit and configured to process the sheet supplied from the standby unit, wherein the corrugation forming unit includes: a projecting roller projecting upward from a conveyance reference plane in the standby unit; and a housing unit configured as a part of the tray member to house the projecting roller below the conveyance reference plane.

Folding pocket device for a buckle folding machine
The folding pocket device for a buckle folding machine includes a folding pocket having a feed-in aperture enabling a sheet to run therethrough in a running-in direction into a pocket space of the folding pocket. A sheet stop device includes a sheet stop extending essentially transversely to the running-in direction in the pocket space, which is displaceable in the running-in direction and in the opposite direction. A sheet directing device includes a diverting device, which is displaceable from a clearance position in which the diverting device opens up the way to the feed-in aperture into the folding pocket to a diverting position in which the diverting device blocks the feed-in aperture in order to divert a sheet. In order to achieve quick switching from the clearance position to the diverting position, the diverting device can be displaced from the clearance position to the diverting position by the sheet stop when the sheet stop is displaced opposite to the running-in direction.
