Sheetlike composite, in particular for the production of dimensionally stable foodstuff containers, having a first bending resistance which is less than a further bending resistance
The present invention refers to a sheetlike composite, comprising as a layer sequence in a direction from an outer surface of the sheetlike composite to an inner surface of the sheetlike composite a) an outer polymer layer, b) a colour application, c) a carrier layer, and d) a barrier layer; wherein the sheetlike composite comprises at least one longitudinal crease line; wherein the at least one longitudinal crease line is oriented in a first direction; wherein the sheetlike composite has a first bending resistance in the first direction; wherein a further direction is perpendicular to the first direction; wherein the sheetlike composite has a further bending resistance in the further direction; wherein the first bending resistance is less than the further bending resistance. The invention further refers to a container precursor and to a closed container, in each case comprising the preceding sheetlike composite; and to a container precursor and a closed container, in each case having a sheetlike composite with a first bending resistance along a first direction which is less than a further bending resistance along a further direction.
SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCORPORATING THE SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE

The circuitry is configured to (1) cause the first conveyor and the second conveyor to convey the sheet nipping the sheet to warp the sheet between the first conveyor and the second conveyor, (2) guide the warped sheet to form a first fold on the sheet by the folder and circulate the sheet to the first conveyance passage, (3) cause the first conveyor and the second conveyor to convey the sheet while nipping the sheet again to warp the sheet between the first conveyor and the second conveyor, (4) guide the warped sheet to form a second fold on the sheet by the folder, and (5) cause the second conveyor to convey the sheet with the first fold and the second fold.
STACK OF PAPER SHEETS, DISPENSER HAVING SUCH A STACK AND METHOD FOR FORMING SUCH A STACK
A stack of paper sheets, particularly for use as dispenser napkins, includes a plurality of folded sheets. Each folded sheet is folded along a first folding line so that a part of a free edge opposite to the first folding line is located on an outer surface of the folded sheet and inward of the outer peripheral edges of the folded sheet, whereby a starter fold is formed. Each folded sheet is further folded along a second folding line non-parallel to the first folding line, the second folding line separating the folded sheet in two panels connected at the second folding line. Two consecutive folded sheets are interfolded so that one panel of one folded sheet is disposed between two panels of the consecutive folded sheet. Also, a method for manufacturing such a stack and folding the sheets included in the stack as well as a dispenser containing such a stack are disclosed.

DEVICE FOR FOLDING SHEETS
Disclosed is a device for folding sheets, the device provided with two transport belts positioned opposite each other in such a way that sheets can be clamped between the transport belts with the exception of a protruding part that protrudes between the transport belts, whereby the device is provided with two slats that extend along the transport belts and between which the protruding part can slide so a strip protrudes between the slats, whereby the device is also provided with one or more folding elements along the transport belts that can fold the abovementioned strip over or around a slat to form a fold line and whereby the device is such that it guides the sheets with their strip along the folding elements and the slats by the driver of the transport belts.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FOLDING WEB MATERIAL IN A PLANT AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING LAYERED COMPOSITE ARTICLES
A device for folding web material in a plant for producing layered composite articles includes: a first guide defining a feeding plane for feeding a web material; a second guide positioned downstream of the first guide and defining a receiving plane for receiving the web material, wherein the receiving plane is substantially orthogonal to the feeding plane. A folder is arranged between the first guide and the second guide and includes an elongated edge having a first end close to the first guide and a second end close to the second guide. The elongated edge is extended from the first guide towards the second guide in the receiving plane and away from the feeding plane, in order to progressively move an intermediate portion of the web material away from the feeding plane and fold in two the web material as it travels from the first guide towards the second guide.

STRETCHING AND BENDING MECHANISM, RESIN MOLDING DEVICE, STRETCHING AND BENDING METHOD, AND RESIN MOLDING METHOD
A stretching and bending mechanism 3, fixes a resin sheet material 2 by a first fixed clamp and a second fixed clamp at both sides of a center of a transverse direction of the resin sheet material 2 at each end in a longitudinal direction of the resin sheet material 2, and when transverse guides 13 are bent between the first and second fixed clamps 9a, 9b, at least one of the longitudinal guides 15 is guided by the bending guide 16 so as to move toward the center side in the transverse direction.
Assembly for folding polymeric film for machines for forming pouches and the like
An assembly for folding polymeric film for machines for forming pouches and the like includes a fixed frame for supporting a magazine for the polymeric film, an element for folding the film that arrives from the magazine, and at least one heat-sealing device for the stable coupling of juxtaposed portions of the folded film that arrives from the folding element. The folding element is mounted on a carriage, which can translate along a respective guide which is integral with the frame, along the sliding direction of the film, with a speed that is variable in intensity and sign. The at least one heat-sealing device acts on portions folded onto themselves of the film during a temporary stop thereof. The carriage retracts with respect to the sliding direction of the film for the entire duration of the temporary stop step provided for the heat-sealing of the film.
