PAPER FOLDING MACHINE
A paper folding machine comprising folding mechanisms (11, 15, 24) arranged at folding positions (A-C) on a transport path (1), respectively, guides (8, 19, 20, 28, 29) positioning a paper sheet (F) relative to the folding positions by engagement with at least one side edge of the paper sheet, stoppers (12, 15, 25) stopping and positioning the paper sheet at the folding positions by bringing a leading edge of the paper sheet into contact with the stoppers, a fold misalignment detection unit (50) detecting a fold misalignment amount of the paper sheet for each folding position, and a controller (42) controlling positions of the guides and stoppers. The controller calculates, for each folding position, an average fold misalignment amount, and adjusts the position of the guide and/or stopper associated with the corresponding folding position so as to correct fold misalignment corresponding to the average fold misalignment amount.

Method for producing collections of printed products, and device for carrying out said method
In a method for producing a collection of pre-products by wrapping a second pre-product around a first pre-product, it is provided according to the invention that said method comprises a number of steps. In one step, a first pre-product is provided, which has an edge region. In another step, a second pre-product is provided. In a further step, the second pre-product is conveyed into a wrapping position. In a further step, the first pre-product is conveyed, with the edge region in front, against the second pre-product located in the wrapping position, as a result of which a wrapping operation is initiated on the second pre-product.

Tape edge folding roller
A tape applicator configured for applying a tape to a carton (e.g., for sealing and/or assembling the carton). The tape applicator may include an edge folder assembly having an edge folder roller operatively coupled to a support member that allows the edge folder roller to rotate around the support member. The edge folder assembly may also include an alignment assembly (e.g., a self-alignment assembly) that allows the edge folder roller to move axially along the support member. The alignment assembly may comprise one or more biasing members (e.g., springs, or the like) and/or one or more restraining members (e.g., washers, or the like) to aid in allowing the edge folder roller to rotate and/or move axially with respect to the one or more support members in order to account for shifting of the tape transversely through the tape applicator.

Continuous fanfolded joined corrugated
A bale of stock packaging material includes a continuous tube of paperboard material, the continuous tube of paperboard material being flattened and folded back and forth on itself into a fan-folded bale. The continuous tube of paperboard can be a single piece of paperboard with two opposed edges that are folded to overlap with each other. The paperboard material can include a corrugated layer. The opposed edges can be adhered together to form a single seam that runs lengthwise along the continuous tube of paperboard. The adhesive can be applied between the two edges which can join to form the single seam.
