Cutter assembly for stretched yarn
An assembly and method for automated cutting of undesired stretched yarn in a yarn system. Stretched yarn can hang away from the yarn system differently than desired yarn. A cutter head is positioned a predetermined distance relative to yarn traveling through the yarn system so that the stretched yarn is cut by the cutter head and the desired yarn passes the cutter head without being cut. A plurality of cutter heads can be used to cut stretched yarn hanging away from the yarn system in different locations.

Yarn recovery device and yarn feed system comprising said device
A yarn recovery device includes a support structure that can be associated upstream or downstream with a yarn feed device, a yarn entry eye and exit eye rigidly connected to the support structure; a drum rotatably associated with the support structure having a seat to accommodate the yarn operationally located between the entry eye and the exit eye; the drum being switchable between a deactivated configuration, in which the seat is substantially aligned with the entry eye and the exit eye and the path of the yarn is not diverted by the drum, and an activated configuration, in which the seat is misaligned in relation to the entry eye and the exit eye and the path of the yarn is diverted by the drum that winds the yarn round itself.

Stock-controlling method for a storage yarn feeder with rotary drum
A yarn feeder is provided with a drum which is driven to rotate by a motor controlled by a control unit for drawing yarn from a reel and winding it upon itself in the shape of loops forming a stock. The control unit estimates the stock on the drum on the basis of an information indicative of the amount of yarn which is unwound from the drum upon request from a downstream machine, and of an information indicative of the amount of yarn which is wound on the drum, and retroactively controls the motor to substantially stabilize the stock on a reference value. The control unit also performs a parallel correction routine in which compares the stock with the reference value to estimate a stock status RES<REF_RES or RESREF_RES, wherein RES is the estimated stock and REF_RES is the reference value.

Method and device for storing yarn in order to feed thread without creating twisting thereof
A method for supplying a thread to a textile machine without creating torsions thereof includes picking up the thread from a reel, winding it on a rotary drum driven by an electric motor thereof and supplying such thread to the textile machine, preferably at constant tension and/or quantity. The method provides for measuring the amount of thread leaving the rotary drum and the amount of thread wound thereon and intervening on the rotation of such drum so the amount of thread leaving the drum is equivalent to the amount loaded thereon to avoid the creation of torsion on the thread. A device for implementing such method is also disclosed.

Device for feeding yarn to a textile machine
A device for feeding yarn to a textile machine, including a main body defining an entry portion and an exit portion for yarn; a rotatable drum for winding the yarn originating from the entry portion and a motor connected to the drum for rotating the drum; a control member active at least on the motor to regulate its torque and velocity; exit portion being selectively switchable between a first configuration in which it defines a free exit section for the yarn, through which the exiting yarn defines a closed path about a rotation axis of the drum, and a second configuration in which it defines a limited exit section, through which the exiting yarn defines an open path.
