Winding core end protector
A core end protector comprised of a shock absorber and an annular, rigid attachment section that is attached to each end of a cardboard tissue core is provided. The core end protectors are securely mounted on the ends of the core. The outer diameter of the core end protector matches the outer diameter of the core. The inner diameter matches the inner diameter of the core. The core end protectors are made both with a rigid base section that mates to the core end face and a softer, shock absorbing section that comes in contact with external forces and impact loads. One single material or a plurality of materials may be used.
REEL PROVIDED WITH A PACKAGING MATERIAL, AND A FILLING MACHINE FOR FILLING A PACKAGING MATERIAL WITH A FOOD PRODUCT
The disclosure relates to a reel provided with a packaging material. The reel may be adapted to be mounted on a mandrel of a filling machine. The reel may be hollow and have the shape of a cylinder, an inner portion of which may be provided with a tag containing information at least associated with the packaging material. The disclosure also relates to a filling machine for filling a packaging material with a food product.
Method for continuously producing optical fiber cable and system thereof
A method for continuously producing an optical fiber cable includes: producing a cable core through cable core producing equipment; conveying the produced cable core to a first cable storing device; conveying the cable core from the first cable storing device to a sheath extrusion device, wherein an exterior of the cable core is covered with a sheath, and the optical fiber cable is obtained by processing; receiving the optical fiber cable from the sheath extrusion device by a cable rolling device, wherein the optical fiber cable is rolled at a tray, and a finished tray rolled with the optical fiber cable is obtained; checking whether the finished tray rolled with the optical fiber cable is qualified, and carrying an unqualified finished tray rolled with the optical fiber cable to a repairing area for repairing until qualified; and fixing sealing plates at a qualified finished tray through a sealing device.

REFILL FOR A DISPENSER, BEARING UNIT AND DISPENSER
Refill for a dispenser, with a material web wound to form a roll and at least one substantially axially adjustable bearing journal. The at least one substantially axially adjustable bearing journal is adjustable substantially axially outwards away from the roll starting from a defined inner end position in which it protrudes axially beyond the roll. A bearing unit for such a refill, and a dispenser for housing the refill and dispensing the material web are also provided.
REEL
The reel which can mount substantial amounts of information for identifying the type of a wire wound thereon without increasing the hub size. The reel includes a hub that includes a winding part, a pair of flanges that face each other with the winding part interposed therebetween, first information display portions that are disposed on a first circumference about a shaft center of the hub of at least a surface of the flange, and a second information display portion that is disposed on a second circumference having a smaller diameter than that of the first circumference. The second information display portion is disposed in a region surrounded, in a circumferential direction, by both inner ends of the adjacent first information display portions and the shaft center of the hub.
TETHERED SPOOL ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A consumable assembly for a 3D printer includes a spool carrying wound filament. The spool is configured to be installed into a spool cabinet to maintain the filament in a controlled environment. A filament key fob that carries a spool chip programmed with identification data for the consumable assembly is tethered to the spool. The filament key fob is configured to be received in a dock of the 3D printer outside of a controlled environment of a chamber of the spool cabinet while remaining tethered to the spool installed in the chamber of the spool cabinet.
MULTI-FIBER REEL AND ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
A multi-fiber reel and adapter assembly includes a base, a cable reel mounted to the base, and a plurality of adapters fixedly mounted to the base. The cable reel is configured to rotate relative to the base and the adapters, and each of the adapters is configured to couple a fiber optic cable from the cable reel with a fiber optic drop cable that is configured to run from the respective adapter to a location of an end user that is remote from the assembly.
Protective insert
A protective insert for protecting e.g. coils or rolls of sheet steel or aluminum is disclosed. The protective insert is open and diametrically adjustable. The ends of the protective insert may be adjustably engaged by means of engagement means. The engagement means permit diametrical adjustment and locking of the diameter of the protective insert to a suitable diameter. A method of protecting a portion of an object, in particular a roll of sheet material, having a hollow core, is also disclosed.
Flange stand and adapter for flanges
A flange for use on a reel, a flange adapter, and a flange stand are provided. The flange may include an outer circumference, a hub assembly, and an arbor hole adapter that is adapted to engage an arbor hole to secure the flange to the reel. The arbor hole adapter may include an expandable portion that is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. First and second expansion plates may be coupled to the arbor hole adapter and connected by shoulder bolts that guide movement of the plates between an abutting configuration and a spaced-apart configuration, allowing movement of the expandable portion relative to the reel for modified engagement. The flange stand may include a base, a support portion, and a coupler for engaging a central extension of the flange to allow the flange to be supported in an upright position.
