Application device for low cost covering on SIR wire, tether wires, and any round rod shaped component
A tape dispenser is disclosed. The tape dispenser may include a pair of spools that are configured to carry tape and a spring disposed between the spools. The spring is preferably arranged to form a claw having two distal ends biased towards each other. The distal ends may each include a roller rotatably attached thereto. The spring may be configured to open responsive to a force on the roller resulting from a shaft coming between the rollers such that the rollers rotate to travel around the shaft to apply the tape.
Processing device and recording device including a medium receiving unit that receives a discharged medium
A recording device as a processing device includes: a recording unit accommodated in a housing and configured to perform recording on a medium; and a medium accommodating unit that accommodates the medium discharged from the housing. The medium accommodating unit includes: a sheet-shaped accommodating member; a rotating shaft provided inside the housing and to which one end of the accommodating member is connected; and an operating portion provided separably from the housing and to which the other end of the accommodating member is connected. The accommodating member is wound around the rotating shaft and accommodated inside the housing when the operating portion is mounted on the housing. The accommodating member is fed from the rotating shaft so that the medium is accommodated when the operating portion is separated from the housing.
WEB MATERIAL DISPENSER AND METHOD
A web material dispenser includes a housing and a pivotable roll support assembly provided therein. A first mandrel is provided at a first attachment location of the roll support assembly to support a first roll of web material. A second mandrel is provided at a second location of the roll support assembly to support a second roll of web material. The web material dispenser permits one-handed operation to replace the rolls of web material and to change positions of the mandrels within the dispenser. The roll support assembly may have a linkage arm and/or a roll support arm. Positions of the first and second mandrels relative to the dispenser's opening can be switched by pivoting the linkage arm relative to the housing and by pivoting the roll support arm relative to the linkage arm. A method for switching positions of rolls in the web material dispenser is also provided.
BUSHING FOR A WEB MATERIAL ROLL, WEB MATERIAL ROLL RETENTION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE SAME
A bushing for a web material roll including a body sized to be fitted into the web material roll; the bushing further including a wall extending across the central cavity of the web material roll when the bushing is in the central cavity of the web material roll and defining an opening for receiving a roll support therethrough, the opening being bordered by a roll support contacting surface, the bushing having one or more bearing surfaces for contacting the roll support and supporting the web material roll, the one or more bearing surfaces including at least the roll support contacting surface bordering the opening. A web material roll, a web material roll retention assembly and a method for placing a web material roll in a web material roll dispenser are also provided.
SHEET STORAGE CASSETTE AS WELL AS SHEET FEEDER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A sheet storage cassette includes a cassette base and inner rails. The cassette base has side plates facing each other parallel to insertion/withdrawal directions of the sheet storage cassette. The inner rails each have positioning bosses that protrude from each of different positions on the inner rails in a longitudinal direction thereof and a hook portion that protrudes in an L-shape in cross section toward the cassette base and is formed between the positioning bosses. On the side plates of the cassette base, there are provided mounting holes that receive the positioning bosses fitted thereinto at the time of mounting the cassette base to the inner rails, positioning surfaces that comes into contact with two locations on each of the inner rails in a longitudinal direction thereof, and fitted portions that are fitted together with the hook portion in a direction orthogonal to the insertion/withdrawal directions.
DUNNAGE SYSTEM WITH COILER, AUTOMATED TAPING AND EJECTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A dunnage conversion system includes a machine for converting a stock material into a strip of relatively lower-density dunnage, a coiling mechanism for winding the strip into a coil, a taping mechanism for automatically securing a trailing end of the strip to the coil, and a coil ejecting mechanism for automatically removing the coil from the coiling mechanism. The taping mechanism includes a guide surface between an outlet of the machine and the coiling mechanism to guide the strip to the coiling mechanism and to guide tape for engagement with a trailing end of the strip and to secure the trailing end of the strip to the coil. The coil ejecting mechanism includes a lever arm that pivots to push the completed coil off the coiling mechanism.
Multi-stage sheet ejection device
A multi-stage sheet ejection device including a tray and a level adjusting structure is provided. The level adjusting structure includes a body and a sliding element. The body has a plurality of stages arranged on a vertical surface of the body in order. The sliding element is disposed on the body and horizontally movable with respect to the vertical surface of the body. Through the movement of the sliding element, the tray can be controlled to move on the vertical surface stage by stage and be supported on one of the stages in sequence.
Dunnage system with coiler, automated taping and ejecting apparatus and method
A dunnage conversion system includes a machine for converting a stock material (14) into a strip of relatively lower-density dunnage, a coiling mechanism (20) for winding the strip into a coil, a taping mechanism (22) for automatically securing a trailing end of the strip to the coil, and a coil ejecting mechanism (24) for automatically removing the coil from the coiling mechanism. The taping mechanism includes a guide surface (70) between an outlet of the machine and the coiling mechanism to guide the strip to the coiling mechanism and to guide tape for engagement with a trailing end of the strip and to secure the trailing end of the strip to the coil. The coil ejecting mechanism includes a lever arm (126) that pivots to push the completed coil off the coiling mechanism.
Drawing apparatus and recording apparatus
Disclosed is a drawing apparatus including: a base member; and a drawing member that is attached so as to be capable of being drawn and pressed in a reciprocating direction with respect to the base member, wherein the base member has a couple application mechanism that applies a couple for correcting skewing of the drawing member with respect to the reciprocating direction to the drawing member as a reaction of a force by which the drawing member is pressed, and wherein the couple application mechanism is configured so that a distance between action lines of two forces generating the couple becomes large as a pressing amount of the drawing member with respect to the base member increases.
Paper feed device and image forming apparatus provided with the same
A paper feed device of the present disclosure is provided with a first cassette and a second cassette, a casing, and a support member.
