The paper delivery assembly (30), the printing assembly (40) and the temporary storage assembly (50) are interconnected with the note container (20) through a note channel (60); the paper delivery assembly (30) delivers the notes in the note container (20) to the printing assembly (40) through the note channel (60) for printing, and the printing assembly (40) transfers the printed notes to the temporary storage assembly (50) for temporary storage.
PAPER TRANSPORT DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A paper transport device includes: a paper transport path that includes plural pairs of transport units provided in a direction intersecting with a direction of transport of paper, and transports paper in a predetermined direction; an opening and closing unit that is opened and closed to expose a part of the paper transport path; and a guide unit that has a guide surface on one side of the paper transport path and is rotatably supported about a rotation shaft between a guide posture for guidance of the paper and an opening posture for opening of the guide surface through rotation from the guide posture, when the opening and closing unit is opened.

A medium transport device includes a first transport route for discharging a medium processed by a processing unit, a second transport route for discharging the medium processed by the processing unit, and a medium receiving tray that is capable of switching a state between a medium receiving state of receiving the medium that is discharged through the first transport route and a medium unreceivable state achieved by performing state switching from the medium receiving state. The first transport route comes into a non-formed state and at least a part of the medium receiving tray forms the second transport route when the medium receiving tray is in the medium unreceivable state, and the second transport route comes into the non-formed state and the first transport route is formed when the medium receiving tray comes into the medium receiving state.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes: an apparatus body that includes a recorder that performs recording on a medium; an opening-and-closing member that is able to be opened away from and closed toward the apparatus body; a unit module that is detachably attached to an attachment portion configured to become exposed by opening the opening-and-closing member, and constitutes a part of a first medium transportation path when attached to the attachment portion; a second medium transportation path that is provided above the first medium transportation path; and a path forming member that is located above the attachment portion and forms a part of the second medium transportation path; wherein the path forming member is retracted from the second medium transportation path and advances onto the opening-and-closing trajectory of the opening-and-closing member when the unit module is detached from the attachment portion.

Disclosed is a shutter assembly for a self-service terminal. The shutter assembly may comprise a track assembly, a shutter door, and a motor. The shutter door may be installed within the track assembly. The motor may be operative to move the shutter door between a first position and a second position and the first position and a third position. The second position may be located opposite the third position.

A medium processing apparatus includes a processing section performing a process on a sheet-like medium; a transport roller pair including a driving roller and a driven roller, and transporting the medium in a transport path including a region in which the processing section performs a process; a first casing accommodating the processing section and the transport roller pair; a second casing configured to close and open with respect to the first casing; and a displacement mechanism displacing the transport roller pair to a separation position and a contact position. The displacement mechanism displaces the transport roller pair from the contact position to the separation position in conjunction with an operation of opening the second casing.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A first transport unit transports, along a first path, a sheet transported from an image forming unit. A second transport unit transports the sheet along a second transport path branched from a junction with the first transport path. A first cover, when open, holds the sheet transported to an exterior of a housing and, when closed, partially constitutes the second transport unit. A flap is disposed at the junction and, when at a first position, blocks the second transport path and guides the sheet along the first transport path and, when at a second position, blocks the first transport path and guides the sheet along the second transport path. A drive unit moves the flap between the first position and the second position. A moving mechanism moves away from the flap in response to closing of the first cover, and pushes and moves the flap to the second position.
