SHEET FEEDING CARTRIDGE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A sheet feeding cartridge attached to or detached from a cartridge storing part formed between a pair of side face covers which constitute a part of an exterior cover of an apparatus main body. The sheet feeding cartridge includes a cartridge base on which a sheet is stacked, a cartridge cover attached so as to be slidable in a width direction perpendicular to the attachment direction, a first positioning part configured to position the cartridge base to the cartridge storing part and a second positioning part configured to position the cartridge cover with respect to the side face covers in the width direction perpendicular to the attachment direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a stopper member supported either in a storage posture stored in a storage part by turning in an upstream side or a restriction posture to prevent falling down of a sheet from a sheet stacking face by turning in a downstream side. The storage part has a first recess and a second recess deeper than the first recess. The stopper member has a pressed part supported in the second recess movably upward and downward and a main part supported in the first recess in the storage posture. When the pressed part is pressed downward in the storage posture, the pressed part is moved downward and the main part comes into contact with a downstream side edge of the first recess, the stopper member is turned around the downstream side edge into the restriction posture through a protrusion posture protruding above the sheet stacking face.
SHEET TRAY
A sheet tray includes a first tray and a second tray each including a first friction portion or a first contact portion, and a second friction portion or a second contact portion. In a process of movement of the second tray from a first position to a second position, the first friction portion contacts the first contact portion to deform the first contact portion and starts returning the first contact portion from a deformed shape to an original shape when the second tray is located at a position spaced apart from the second position in a second direction. The second friction portion contacts the second contact portion when the second tray moved from the first position in a first direction has reached the second position, and the second friction portion deforms the second contact portion when the second tray is moved from the second position in the first direction.
SHEET TRAY AND SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS
There is provided a sheet tray including: a first tray; a second tray supported by the first tray; and a third tray supported by the second tray. The second tray has a first engaging section engageable with the first tray at a second position; the third tray has a second engaging section contactable with the second tray, in a drawing direction from a first position toward the second position, at a fifth position between a third and a fourth position, and engageable with the second tray at the fourth position. The second engaging section is configured to be elastically deformable to be movable in a releasing direction in which the contact between the second engaging section and the second tray is released. The second and third trays are moved integrally in the drawing direction in a state that the second engaging section makes contact with the second tray.
Fill indicator rollers for printer trays
Example feed trays for a printer are disclosed. In one example, the feed tray includes a support surface to support print media, and a guide wall coupled to the support surface. The support surface and the guide wall define a feed path for the print media into the printer, and the guide wall is movable along the support surface. In addition, the feed tray includes a fill indicator comprising a roller mounted to the guide wall that extends into the feed path. The roller is to rotate about an axis of rotation that is perpendicular to the feed path.
Removable media tray having sliding tray extension operable by a rear media restraint
A removable media tray with an adjustable rear tray extension operable by a rear media restraint. The tray extension is slidably attached to a front section of the tray via a cam having a locking arm engaged in a J-slot. When in the curved portion of the J-slot the front section and tray extension are locked together. A rear media restraint slidably latching to a track in the bottom of the tray has a locking lobe that engages with a locking notch on the cam. As the media restraint is slid toward the rear, the locking lobe initially rotates the cam moving the locking arm to the straight section of the J-slot, then the locking lobe engages with the locking notch, locking the media restraint to the tray extension. Thereafter, the media restraint and tray extension move together until the end of the J-slot is reached by the locking arm.
GRIPPER ASSEMBLY, APPARATUS FOR RECOVERING A LAYOUT FROM A SHEET MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING A LAYOUT FROM WASTE OF A SHEET MATERIAL
A gripper assembly for recovering a layout (22) from a sheet material (12) is presented. It comprises a vacuum gripper (26) with a gripper body (32) on which an array of air flow openings (34a, 34b) is arranged. Air flow openings (34a) associated with one or more blanks (20) of the layout (22) are selectively open and air flow openings (34b) associated to waste (28) of the sheet material (12) are selectively closed. Additionally, an apparatus for recovering a layout (22) from a sheet material (12) comprising such a gripper assembly is described. Furthermore, a method for separating a layout (22) from waste (28) of a sheet material (12) is explained.
Support device with slats mounted on a basic components, for storing or transporting single sheets or stacks of a packaging material
A Support device (14) for storing or transporting single sheets or stacks of a packaging material is described. It comprises a multitude of slats (32) being arranged on a basic component (34), wherein the slats (32) are in an upright position and spaced from each other in a generally parallel manner such that respective side contour contact sections (36) of the slats (32) form a substantially flat support surface configured to support the single sheets or stacks. Each slat (32) is mounted on the basic component (34) via two connection tongues (52) being arranged on opposite ends of the slat (32), the connection tongues (52) engaging corresponding connection slots (54) being provided on the basic component (34)), wherein two types of slots (54) are provided on the basic component (34), wherein a first type of slots (54) is arranged closer to a basic surface of the basic component (34) than a second type of slots (54), and wherein two types of slats (32) are provided, wherein a first type of slats (32) is engageable with connection slots (54) of the first type, but not with connection slots (54) of the second type, and a second type of slats (32) is engageable with connection slots (54) of the second type, but not with connection slots (54) of the first type.
