The bidirectional transmission mechanism is connected to the driving motor. The at least one feeding roller is mounted in the feeding path. The at least one feeding roller is connected to the bidirectional transmission mechanism. The unidirectional transmission mechanism is connected to the driving motor. The at least one blocking roller is mounted in the feeding path. The at least one blocking roller is disposed to a downstream of the at least one feeding roller. The at least one blocking roller is connected to the unidirectional transmission mechanism.
SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE
A sheet conveying device includes a sheet tray on which one or more sheets are placed, a pickup roller by which a sheet is picked up from the sheet tray, and an elevating mechanism. The elevating mechanism includes a shaft rotated by a motor, and a cam attached to the shaft and rotated together with the shaft to raise and lower the sheet tray with respect to the pickup roller. The sheet conveying device further includes a load applying mechanism contacting the shaft to apply a load thereto.
Fill indicator cams for printer trays
Example feed trays for a printer are disclosed. In one example, the feed tray includes a support surface to support print media, and a guide wall coupled to the support surface. The support surface and the guide wall define a feed path for the print media into the printer. In addition, the feed tray includes a fill indicator comprising a cam rotatably coupled to the guide wall about an axis of rotation that is perpendicular to the feed path. The cam includes an extension that extends radially from the axis of rotation, and the cam is rotatable about the axis of rotation between a first position and a second position. The extension is more proximate to the support surface when the cam is in the second position than when the cam is in the first position, and the cam is rotationally biased from the second position toward the first position.
Paper feeding mechanism
A paper feeding mechanism includes a feeding path, a driving motor, a bidirectional transmission mechanism, at least one feeding roller, a unidirectional transmission mechanism and at least one blocking roller. The driving motor is controllable to output a driving force towards a forward direction or a driving force towards a reverse direction.
According to one embodiment, a sheet conveying device includes a tray, a pickup roller, a movement mechanism, a holder, a biasing unit, and a detecting mechanism. The movement mechanism moves the tray between a raised position and a lowered position. The raised position is a position where sheets come into contact with the pickup roller. The holder holds the pickup roller so that the pickup roller is displaceable when pushed up by the sheets. The biasing unit applies a biasing force to the holder pushing down the pickup roller. The detecting mechanism detects when the sheets push up the pickup roller. The detecting mechanism includes a detection unit and a sensor. The detection unit is switchable between a reference position and a detection position according to displacement of the holder accompanying the movement of the tray. The sensor detects when the detection unit reaches the detection position.
CONVEYANCE MECHANISM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A conveyance mechanism includes: a lower conveyance guide disposed below an inclined conveyance path having an upward inclination or a downward inclination with which a sheet material is to be conveyed, and to guide a lower surface of the sheet material; an upper conveyance guide located above the inclined conveyance path, and to guide an upper surface of the sheet-shaped material, the upper conveyance guide being openable and closable about a rotation shaft, which is disposed on a side of the inclined conveyance path in a direction of a width of the inclined conveyance path so as to extend along the inclined conveyance path; and a first urging member to urge a portion of the upper conveyance guide away from the rotation shaft in the direction of the width of the inclined conveyance path toward the rotation shaft, the portion of the upper conveyance guide away from the rotation shaft being at an upper end of the upper conveyance guide in an inclined direction.
Sheet processing apparatus
A sheet processing apparatus has a main body with an insertion slot for a sheet cassette. The sheet cassette has a moveable pin member. A housing in the main body includes a lever partially rotatable about a first axis. The lever has a pin engagement portion at an end of the lever that rotates about a second axis and has an engagement groove into which the pin member can be inserted from a first pin engagement position and a second pin engagement position when the lever has rotated about the first axis. An elastic member applies a force to the lever to rotate the lever toward the insertion direction of the cassette. The housing includes a chassis having a guide groove extending along the insertion direction. The guide groove includes an inclining portion that is inclined with respect to the insertion direction.
