SHEET CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet conveyance device includes a center shaft; a driving portion and a rotatable member. The rotatable member includes an engaging hole to engage with the center shaft, a drive coupling portion disposed on an outer diameter side of the engaging hole and coupled to the driving portion, and a restricting portion disposed on the outer diameter side of the engaging hole and for restricting movement of a moving member. The rotatable member changes a position of the restricting member by being rotated between a first position and a second position rotated from the first position about the center shaft by driving of the driving portion. As viewed in an axial direction of the center shaft, a position of a center of gravity of the rotatable member is positioned in an inner diameter side of an inner diameter surface of the engaging hole.
Two axis media guide system for an imaging device
A removable media tray with a two-axis media restraint system having a user-actuated rear media restraint operatively coupled to a side media restraint via a camming member. The rear media restraint includes a latching assembly for slidably latching with one of the indents along a track, each indent corresponding to a supported media length. The camming member having a predefined camming profile surface is coupled to and movable with the rear media restraint. As the rear media restraint moves along the track, camming member moves with the rear media restraint in the same direction engaging first and second cam follower portions of the side media restraint causing the side media restraint to move to contact a side edge of a media stack with the position of the side media restraint depending on a position of the first and second cam follower portions on the camming profile surface.
SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a guide member, a holding member, and urging members. The guide member can move between a first position to guide a conveyed sheet toward a first conveyance path and a second position to guide the conveyed sheet toward a second conveyance path. A first urging member applying applies an urging force to the holding member so that the guide member is held at the first position. The second urging member applies, to the guide member, an urging force to move the guide member from the first to the second position. The holding member is movable between a hold position at which the guide member is held and a release position in which the holding member releases the guide member. When the holding member is at the release position, the guide member is held at the second position by the second urging member urging force.
Medium feeding device and image forming apparatus
A medium feeding device includes a device body, a tray that regulates and contains a plurality of kinds of media of different sizes in a loading area according to the sizes of the media, and a detection lever that detects whether or not the media are properly loaded in the tray. In a state in which the tray is contained in the device body, when the media are not properly loaded in the tray, the detection lever moves to a non-load detection position. When the media are properly loaded in the tray, the detection lever moves to a load detection position with a front end part being oriented toward the tray containing side, and when a pressing force is applied to the detection lever at the non-load detection position from the tray containing side, the detection lever retreats toward the tray pulling out side.
Sheet feeding apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet receiving plate configured to receive a sheet and pivot in an up-down direction; a feed roller configured to pivot between a contact position where the feed roller contacts the sheet on the sheet receiving plate and a withdrawal position where the feed roller withdraws from the sheet; an urging member configured to urge the sheet receiving plate upward; an abutting portion configured to, when the sheet receiving plate pivots upward, abut the sheet and stop the sheet receiving plate; a moving member configured to, after the sheet abuts the abutting portion, move the sheet receiving plate to a sheet feed position; and a feed roller pivoting mechanism configured to, when the sheet receiving plate pivots upward, withdraw the feed roller to the withdrawal position and to, after the sheet contacts the abutting portion, move the feed roller to the sheet receiving plate.
Image Forming Apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a support portion configured to support a sheet, a roller configured to feed the sheet supported on the support portion, a separation member configured to apply a feeding resistance to the sheet fed by the roller from the support portion, a holder holding the roller, a holder pivoting member configured to pivot the holder between a first position where the roller contacts the sheet and a second position where the roller is separated from the sheet, a clutch mechanism, a clutch-state changing member, a rotator configured to rotate between an off position where the holder is at the second position and the clutch mechanism is at a cut-off state and an on position where the holder is at the first position and the clutch mechanism is at a transmission state, a stopper configured to stop the rotator, and an actuator connected to the stopper.
PAPER STOP STRUCTURE, PAPER FEED UNIT, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a paper stop structure, a paper feed unit, and an image forming apparatus. The paper stop structure includes a movement stopper and a paper stopper both swingably configured in a paper feed path, and a separation structure to separate the movement stopper and the paper stopper. In paper stopping state, the paper stopper is pushed by an external force to swing until contacting the movement stopper, and blocks paper sheets from entering the paper feed path. In non-paper stopping state, the paper stopper is pushed by an external force to swing and separates from the movement stopper. Accordingly, various functions of paper feeding, paper stopping, and paper detecting may be achieved, and large capacity paper feeding can also be achieved to improve product operating efficiency and to effectively prevent paper mis-feed and paper jam during the image forming apparatus operation.
Printer paper tray
A printer paper tray comprising a paper tray bezel, and a paper tray cassette coupled to the paper tray bezel, in which the paper tray bezel moves in the x and y direction independent of the paper tray cassette. A printer comprising a paper tray comprising a bezel coupled to a cassette in which the bezel moves independent of the cassette and is biased towards the cassette in the x direction. A bezel mounting system comprising a number of biasing members to bias a printer tray bezel towards a printer tray cassette in the x-direction, and a number of biasing pads to bias the bezel in a substantially centered position with respect to the cassette.
Feeding device and image forming device
Interlocked with an operation in which a feeding cassette is drawn out from a main body of a device, a restriction rib moves to a permissive position from a restrictive position, and interlocked with an operation in which the feeding cassette is inserted into the main body of the device, the restriction rib moves to the restrictive position from the permissive position.
Sheet conveying apparatus
A first actuator is detected at a first detection position by a detecting unit when no sheet is held on a feed tray, and is not detected at a first non-detection position by the detecting unit when the first actuator is in contact with a sheet held on the feed tray. A second actuator is detected at a second detection position by the detecting unit when the second actuator is in contact, at a predetermined position downstream of the first actuator in a conveying direction, with a sheet conveyed, and is not detected at a second non-detection position by the detecting unit when the second actuator is out of contact, at the predetermined position, with the sheet conveyed. A restricting member restricts the first actuator from moving from the first non-detection position to the first detection position when the second actuator is at the second detection position.
