A device wherein a flat hose can be rolled up around two arms. The device consists of two U-Shaped rollers that correct the orientation of the hose as it is rolled into the two arms. As the two arms are rotated by the user rotating a crank handle, the hose travels over the two U-shaped rollers and over the drum. The hose is released by the device by laying it on the ground and stepping onto a handle, the hose is released with an orifice in the centre allowing someone to easily carry it.

A reading apparatus includes a reader, a conveyor, motors and a hardware processor. The reader reads a surface of a recording medium with an image formed. The hardware processor controls operations of the motors such that the rollers located farther downstream in a conveyance direction of the recording medium rotate faster. As to at least one motor of the motors, the hardware processor switches between and performs a first control to adjust a rotational speed and a second control to adjust a torque, depending on an operating state of the motor.

The at least one first roller and the at least one second roller are each driven by a drive so that the tensile stress in the material sheet or in the partial sheets changes periodically over time in the conveying direction of the material sheet.

The first drive member is arranged for rotating the plurality of rollers through contact with the first driven parts at a rotation speed in a transmission ratio to the speed of the first drive member in such a way that the first drive member contacts the first driven part of each roller of the at least three rollers at a different diameter for each roller.
