A sheet conveyance apparatus include a first conveyance unit, a second conveyance unit including a cover and configured to be movable between a first position where a sheet conveyed from the first conveyance unit can be conveyed to a sheet conveyance path and a second position separated from the first position, and a retaining portion configured to retain the cover at an open position and to retain the second conveyance unit at the second position through the cover retained at the open position in a case where the cover is positioned at the open position in a condition in which the second conveyance unit is positioned at the second position.
Image forming apparatus having a flap swingable from a first position to a second position
A first transport unit transports, along a first path, a sheet transported from an image forming unit. A second transport unit transports the sheet along a second transport path branched from a junction with the first transport path. A first cover, when open, holds the sheet transported to an exterior of a housing and, when closed, partially constitutes the second transport unit. A flap is disposed at the junction and, when at a first position, blocks the second transport path and guides the sheet along the first transport path and, when at a second position, blocks the first transport path and guides the sheet along the second transport path. A drive unit moves the flap between the first position and the second position. A moving mechanism moves away from the flap in response to closing of the first cover, and pushes and moves the flap to the second position.
MEDIUM-DISCHARGING DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A medium-discharging device includes: a device main body including a medium-discharging section that discharges a medium; a medium-receiving tray that receives the medium discharged by the medium-discharging section; and a pressing member that is configured to be attached to and detached from to the device main body and presses the medium discharged by the medium-discharging section against the medium-receiving tray in a state in which the pressing member is attached to the device main body, in which the pressing member is configured to switch, in the state in which the pressing member is attached to the device main body, between a first state in which the pressing member comes into contact with the medium-receiving tray and a second state in which the pressing member retreats upward so as to be apart from the medium-receiving tray.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes a developing device, a plurality of feeding and delivering paths through which a printing medium is delivered to the developing device, a feeding roller unit which forms a developing and delivering path in which the plurality of feeding and delivering paths are joined and delivers the printing medium to the developing device, and a guide unit which guides the printing medium passing through the plurality of feeding and delivering paths to the feeding roller unit and is rotatably provided to expose the plurality of feeding and delivering paths to the outside. In the above configuration, the printing medium jam problems inside the image forming apparatus are easily cleared.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A discharge unit discharges the sheet has an image. A switching unit switches between stacking the sheet discharged from the discharge unit on a stacking unit or conveying the sheet the discharge unit toward an image reading apparatus. A conveyance unit conveys the sheet conveyed via the switching unit to a reading unit. A cooling unit cools the sheet discharged from the discharge unit or cools the reading unit.

An image forming apparatus, comprising: a housing having a sheet discharge tray, a first opening, and a second opening disposed on an upper side of the first opening; an image forming unit; a sheet discharge path communicating with the first opening; a re-conveying path communicating with the second opening; and a swinging member having a first surface facing the first opening and a second surface, wherein the swinging member has a first end area swingably supported by the housing, a second end area, and a rib; the swinging member is disposed to be movable between a first position and a second position at which the second end area gets higher; and the rib is formed on the second surface opposing the first surface facing the sheet discharge tray in a state where the swinging member is disposed at the second position.
Printing apparatus, method of controlling printing apparatus, and storage medium
A printing apparatus can prevent a print medium from buckling during discharging. In a case in which the print conveyance speed determined by the print mode is higher than or equal to a specified speed, the print medium after printing is conveyed to a discharging tray at the print conveyance speed, and in a case in which the print conveyance speed determined by the print mode is lower than the specified speed, the print medium after printing is conveyed to the discharging tray at the specified speed increased from the print conveyance speed.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
Provided is a sheet processing apparatus, including: a regulation portion configured to contact with an end edge of a sheet to be conveyed and to regulate a position of the sheet; a position adjustment portion configured to perform position adjustment on a sheet in a direction along an end edge of the sheet of which the end edge is in contact with the regulation portion; a folding portion configured to perform folding processing on a sheet which has been regulated by the regulation portion; and a control portion configured to execute: a first mode of causing the folding portion to perform the folding processing on a sheet which has been regulated by the regulation portion, without causing the position adjustment portion to perform the position adjustment on the sheet; and a second mode of causing the position adjustment portion to perform the position adjustment with respect to the regulated sheet.
Stacker and medium processing device
A stacker includes a medium stacking portion for receiving and stacking a medium processed and discharged by a processing unit, a medium butting portion for aligning the medium by contacting a leading end of the medium, and a paddle that includes a feeding portion and is for transporting the medium received by the medium stacking portion in a direction toward the medium butting portion by rotating. Furthermore, the stacker has a first mode in which the paddle stops in a state in which the feeding portion does not contact the medium on the medium stacking portion and a second mode in which the paddle stops in a state in which the feeding portion comes into contact with the medium on the medium stacking portion and is deformed.
Sheet processing apparatus with stapling, folding, and adhesion unit
A sheet folding apparatus includes a retract path that is positioned on the upstream side of a stacker section for collecting sheets and that branches off from a transport path to enable a sheet carried in the stacker section to be transported in a direction opposite to a carry-in direction, an adhesion unit that is positioned in a junction position of the transport path and the retract path to bond sheets by applying an adhesive, a staple binding unit that binds sheets collected in the stacker section with a staple, and a folding processing section that folds sheets bound with the unit. The retract path is a path for retracting an application position of the preceding sheet with the adhesive applied, in carrying a next sheet in the stacker section, and the staple binding unit is disposed in the stacker section between the adhesion unit and the folding processing section.
