Method for folding absorbent articles
The present invention is related to a method for folding an article into three parts comprising first folding a leading end portion of the article to form a first folded article, and second folding a trailing end portion of the first folded article, wherein the first folded article is transported with a moving direction change no higher than about 45 degree.
Sheet conveying device and sheet accumulating device provided with the same
The present invention is to provide a sheet conveying device capable of reducing noise. The sheet conveying device includes an endless belt that gives a conveying force to a sheet and a rotating member engaged with an outer peripheral portion of the endless belt. The endless belt has, on its outer peripheral portion, a plurality of convex portions arranged in a peripheral direction thereof, the convex portions each extending in a width direction thereof. The rotating member has a contact portion that contacts the outer peripheral portion of the endless belt and deforms a plurality of points of each of the convex portions in the width direction.
ITEM INDIVIDUALIZATION STATION
An individualization station has a supply deck for supplying flat goods to a goods processing apparatus following in the transport path in the transport direction x of a Cartesian coordinate system, with openings in the supply deck for a drum in an individualization region, and with individualization assembly as well as with a contact pressure box. The contact pressure box is movable in the z-direction, and has a linkage that is pivotable at a downstream end. An individualization assembly carrier forms an L-shape at an upstream end of the linkage that is pivotable in the contact pressure box. A stop side of the undeflected individualization assembly carrier is aligned parallel to the y/z-plane and extends counter to a y-direction. The individualization assembly carrier can be deflected above the supply deck at a variable distance corresponding to the thickness of the flat good to be individualized, and is adjustable in the y-direction and counter thereto by an adjustment assembly.
Paper currency handling device
In order to improve the ability to feed paper currency from a deposit unit and to reduce the height of the device, this paper currency handling device (100) has a paper currency recognition unit (170) and a paper currency storage unit (200) (which does not include a deposit unit (120) and a withdrawal unit (140)) accommodated within a chassis section (112) of a vault (110), so that deposited paper currency is transported to the paper currency storage unit (200) and withdrawn paper currency is transported from the paper currency storage unit (200) as the paper currency passes through the chassis section (112). When the paper currency (B) is fed to a feed path unit (124) connecting the deposit unit (120) and an upstream deposit path (181), the vanes (129) of impellers (128) make contact with the paper currency (B) retained in the deposit unit (120), with the contact being on the feed path unit (124) side.
FEEDER, IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND RECORDING APPARATUS
A feeder includes a pressing section that presses a medium after a feeding force is applied on the medium in a direction in which a leading edge of the medium set in a setting section in a feeding direction abuts on an abutment section during feeding of the media by a feed roller.
Sheet conveyance apparatus, sheet processing apparatus, and image forming system
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a controller controlling a driver to cause a guide to start rotation in a state in which a trailing end in a sheet conveyance direction of a preceding sheet conveyed by a roller pair having a first roller and a second roller such that the trailing end of the preceding sheet is moved from the position above a first guide to a position between a second guide and a sheet support by the rotation of the guide and that a succeeding sheet conveyed by the roller pair subsequently to the preceding sheet passes the position above the first guide after the rotation of the guide. The first roller is rotated by a driving force supplied from a driving source, and the guide rotates about a rotation axis of the first roller while rotating relatively to the first roller.
Cash recycling system and banknote separating device thereof
A cash recycling system and a banknote separating device thereof are provided. The banknote separating device includes a supporting side plate, and an impeller wheel assembly, a banknote separating assembly, a first banknote pressing assembly and a second banknote pressing assembly mounted to the supporting side plate. The first banknote pressing assembly includes a first banknote pressing plate and a synchronous belt pulley mechanism configured to drive the first banknote pressing plate, and the synchronous belt pulley mechanism includes two synchronous pulleys and a synchronous belt sleeved on the synchronous pulleys. With the banknote separating device, the structure is simplified, the banknote clamping risk is reduced, and the reliability is improved.
Medium carrying device and image forming apparatus
A medium carrying device includes a first carrying part and a second carrying part that are configured to carry a medium, making a nip part therebetween. The guide member includes a medium regulation part having a surface to regulate the medium, an arm part that is at a side of the surface and extend in a direction away from the surface, and a rotation supporting point that is on a distal end of the arm part, and the guide member is formed rotatable around the rotation supporting point between the guide position and a retreat position, the retreat position being more distant to the nip part than the guide position.
Sheet stacker for thin or weak print media
When using a flipping wheel to flip sheets of weak or long media, there is a risk that these sheets collapse upon themselves. To reduce this risk, a method of stacking sheets includes flipping a sheet while holding its leading edge and bringing the leading edge down towards a stack support; bringing a trailing portion of the sheet into contact with a guide member positioned over the stack support; forming an overpressure in an inner volume of the bent sheet during flipping, while its trailing portion is in contact with the guide member; and maintaining the overpressure and contact while a trailing edge of the sheet travels along the guide member.
