Sheet sorting apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet sorting apparatus includes a second tray arranged below a first tray detachable from a main body having a first discharge port corresponding to the first tray and a second discharge port corresponding to the second tray, a discharge unit, a tray detecting unit, and a control unit. The discharge unit discharges a sheet toward the first or second discharge port. In a state that the first tray is detached from the main body and the discharge unit discharges sheets from the first discharge port to the second tray and then the first tray is detected as attached to the main body, the control unit selects a discharge destination of a second sheet, subsequent to a first sheet discharged and stacked first after the first tray is attached to the main body, such that the second sheet is stacked on a tray having the first sheet thereon.
Paper Sheet Storage Container
A paper sheet storage container capable of accurately taking out paper sheets one-by-one. A paper sheet group is held by a paper sheet placing table and holding members, while the paper sheet placing table is being biased upward by an elastic member so that the position of an uppermost paper sheet of the paper sheet group placed on the paper sheet placing table is substantially the same position as the positions of holes through which air flows. In this state, in the paper sheet storage container, air is blown from a side to the uppermost paper sheet of the paper sheet group placed on the paper sheet placing table thereby allowing the uppermost paper sheet to be brought into a state in which the vicinity of the center thereof has been raised.
PRINTING CASSETTE AND PRINTER
A printing cassette includes: a case including a first case portion, a second case portion, and a third case portion; a first tape, at least a portion of which is accommodated in the third case portion; and a gear, a portion of which is accommodated in the second case portion and the other portion of which is located outside of the case, the gear being rotatable about a rotation axis parallel to a first direction. The first case portion has an outlet through which the first tape is discharged. The first case portion, the second case portion, and the third case portion are disposed in an order of the first case portion, the second case portion, and the third case portion in the first direction.
DOCUMENT SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING LARGE CAPACITY OF SHEET FEED TRAY
A document sheet conveying device includes a sheet feed tray lift mechanism, a top plate portion, a fixed wall portion, and a lifted wall portion. The sheet feed tray lift mechanism lifts up and down a sheet feed tray. The top plate portion is adjacent to the sheet feed tray at a downstream side, in a sheet feed direction, of the sheet feed tray, and is contacted by a lower surface of a document sheet having been fed. The fixed wall portion is provided to extend downward from an upstream end, in the sheet feed direction, of the top plate portion, and the position of the fixed wall portion is fixed. The lifted wall portion extends upward from a downstream end of the sheet feed tray in the sheet feed direction and is lifted up and down along the fixed wall portion together with the sheet feed tray.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes: an apparatus main body that includes a recording unit; a medium-receiving tray that is configured to be switched between a first state and a second state; and a motor, in which the medium-receiving tray includes a first tray, a second tray that is configured to be displaced with respect to the first tray and that is positioned further than the first tray from the apparatus main body when the medium-receiving tray is in the second state, a pinion gear engaged with a first rack formed in the first tray in a displacement direction of the second tray and with a second rack formed in the second tray in the displacement direction, and a displacement section that supports the pinion gear and that is displaced in the displacement direction in response to receiving power from the motor.
Recording-medium container and image forming apparatus
A recording-medium container includes a press portion and an urging member. The press portion is disposed to be movable toward and away from a side of a recording medium stack loaded in the recording-medium container, and pressed against the side. The urging member urges the press portion toward the recording medium stack when a quantity of the recording medium stack exceeds a predetermined load.
Sheet feeding apparatus and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet stacking portion on which sheets are stacked in a storage unit; a lifting and lowering unit configured to move the sheet stacking portion between a first position and a second position above the first position; and a control unit configured to execute a first mode of waiting for start of feeding processing in a state in which the sheet stacking portion is at the first position and a second mode of waiting for start of the feeding processing in a state in which the sheet stacking portion is held at the second position by the lifting and lowering unit. The control unit executes the first mode when sheets of a first amount are stacked and execute the second mode when sheets of a second amount less than the first amount are stacked.
Sheet stacking device, sheet post-processing device and image forming apparatus provided with sheet post-processing device
A controller of a sheet stacking device executes tray elevating processing and sheet stacking processing. The tray elevating processing is processing in which when a sensor detects an uppermost sheet, the controller once lowers a stacking tray, and lifts the stacking tray until the sensor detects the uppermost sheet. The sheet stacking processing is processing in which the controller arranges a guide arm at an advanced position to guide the sheet, arranges the guide arm at a retracted position before a rear end of the sheet passes the sheet discharge portion, and stacks the sheet on the stacking tray after the rear end of the sheet passes the sheet discharge portion. The controller executes the tray elevating processing in a state where the guide arm is disposed at the advanced position during the execution of the sheet stacking processing.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND LOCKING DEVICE
A sheet feeding device includes a plurality of containers configured to store sheet members, a housing in which the plurality of containers are mounted from a front, and a locking device configured to restrict withdrawal of the plurality of containers mounted in the housing, wherein a first opening portion is provided in a front surface of each of the plurality of containers, the housing includes a first engaged portion, and the locking device includes an engaging portion that is inserted into the first opening portion and engaged with the first engaged portion located further, in a depth direction, than the first opening portion, a restricting portion that restricts disengagement of the engaging portion, and a contact portion that comes into contact with the front surfaces of the plurality of containers.
