Document conveyance device, document reading device and image forming apparatus
A document conveyance device includes a sheet feeding tray, a conveyance mechanism, a discharge tray, a document pressing member and a supporting mechanism. The document pressing member comes into contact with an upper face of the document discharged from a conveyance path and presses the document downward. The supporting mechanism is configured to be provided in the sheet feeding tray, to support the document pressing member, to allow a shifting of the document pressing member according to an operation for shifting the document pressing member in a discharge direction of the document or an opposite direction to the discharge direction and to inhibit the shifting of the document pressing member against a force applied to the document pressing member by the discharged document.
Image forming device with a collapsible guiding mechanism
An image forming device with a collapsible paper guide is provided. The image forming device includes a casing, a first tray structure and a paper guide. A medium gateway opening is formed on the casing. The first tray structure is disposed on the casing and adjacent to the medium gateway opening. The paper guide includes a first base disposed on the first tray structure and a first guiding component pivotally connected to the first base. The paper guide is switchable relative to the first tray structure between a used position and a stored position. A first included angle included between the first guiding component and the first base is less than 90 degrees when the paper guide is located at the used position, so that the first guiding component can be interfered and driven to pivotally fold for preventing the paper guide from being broken or damaged.
SHEET TRAY AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS EMPLOYING SHEET TRAY
A sheet tray provided with first and second trays respectively having first and second supporting surfaces. The second tray slidably assembled, in a first direction, to the first tray. The first and second supporting surfaces are configured to support sheets thereon. The first tray and the second tray have a first guide portion and a second guide portion which are formed at central parts, in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, respectively. The second guide portion is configured to slidably contact the first guide portion to guide the slide movement of the second tray. A first separation regulating part formed on the first guide portion, and a second separation regulating part formed on the second guide portion are configured to engage with each other in the vertical direction to prevent separation of the first and second trays in the vertical direction, exceeding a particular dimension.
MANUAL SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A manual sheet feeding device includes: a sheet feeding rotary body configured to separate and feed recording media placed on a manual sheet feeding unit one by one; a shielding unit configured to cover an outer side surface of the sheet feeding rotary body, the shielding unit having an aperture for exposing at least a part of the sheet feeding rotary body to an outside; and an opening and closing unit configured to open and close the aperture of the shielding unit.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND DUSTPROOF COVER
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a paper loading base on which manual-feed paper is loaded, a manual-feed paper conveying unit, and a dustproof cover which covers the paper loading base being in the overhang state. The paper loading base has a lower end rotatably supported on one outer surface portion of the device main body, and is opened from an upper end thereof and disposed at a predetermined oblique angle or in a horizontal overhang state such that an overhang side becomes an upper side in an oblique direction. The manual-feed paper conveying unit is conveys the manual-feed paper on the paper loading base onto a paper conveyance path one by one. The dustproof cover includes a base which engages with the paper loading base, and an opening-and-closing cover which is rotatably connected to the base and is opened upwardly on the overhang side.
Sheet feeding cartridge and image forming apparatus
A sheet feeding cartridge storing a sheet conveyed orthogonally to a width direction includes a main body, a pair of side cursors and a restricting member. The main body has a bottom part including a sheet placement face and allows sheets of different sizes to be placed. The side cursors mutually slide in approaching and separating directions and restrict a position in the width direction. The restricting member comes into contact with a side edge in the width direction at a position separated from one of the side cursors to an upstream side in a conveyance direction and restricts the position in the width direction. The restricting member is attachably/detachably provided in the main body at each of plural positions along the width direction and restricts the side edge of each of the sheets of different sizes in the width direction.
SHEET STORAGE DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet storage device includes a case, a lift plate, and a lift attachment. The lift attachment is fixed, in a detachable manner, to a central portion of the lift plate in a width direction. The lift attachment supports a lower surface of the sheets stacked on the lift plate at a position higher than the upper surface of the lift plate. The lift attachment includes a base portion and a pair of arm portions. The pair of arm portions are respectively formed to extend from an end portion of the base portion that is on a downstream side in the sheet feed direction, to opposite directions in the width direction.
Sheet conveying device and image reading apparatus
A sheet conveying device, including: a conveyor; a first supporter configured such that, when located at its closed position, a first surface thereof partially forms an exterior surface of the device and such that, when located at its open position, a second surface thereof supports the sheet to be supplied to the conveyor; a second supporter configured such that, when located at its closed position, a first surface thereof partially forms the exterior surface of the device and such that, when located at its open position, a second surface thereof supports the sheet output from the conveyor; and a link configured such that, when the first supporter is moved from the closed position to the open position, the link transmits a force from the first supporter to the second supporter and thereby moves the second supporter from the closed position to the open position in conjunction with the first supporter.
Sheet positioning member, sheet storage device including sheet positioning member, and image processing apparatus including sheet storage device
A sheet positioning member is provided on a sheet placing surface in such a way as to be movable in a predetermined first direction. The sheet positioning member includes a moving body, an abutting portion, an operation member, and a cam portion. The moving body moves in the first direction on the sheet placing surface. The abutting portion has an abutting surface that abuts on the side end portion when the sheet positioning member positions the sheet. The operation member is supported by the moving body so as to be pivotable around a support shaft that extends in the first direction, on a side of a back surface of the abutting portion. The cam portion displaces the abutting portion toward the side end portion by being pressed by the operation member in response to a pivoting operation of the operation member.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
The present invention provides a sheet feeding apparatus capable of feeding sheets at a proper position without a regulating member being bent even if a cassette unit is closed in a state in which a large volume of sheets are stacked. A large-volume feeding deck includes a non-reference-side regulating plate, an external casing plate, and positioning members, which are movable relative to the cassette unit.
