FOLDING BOX STACK TRANSFERRING DEVICE IN A PACKAGING MACHINE, AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING A FOLDING BOX STACK IN A PACKAGING MACHINE
A folding box stack transferring apparatus in a packaging machine has a gripping apparatus which is arranged on an adjustable manipulator. The gripping apparatus has at least two gripping jaws which can be moved toward one another in a clamping direction and between which the folding box stack can be clamped. In addition, a suction apparatus is provided which can be adjusted by means of an adjusting apparatus in such a way that the suction apparatus can be brought selectively into or out of contact with the surface of the folding box stack. In the case of the transfer of a folding box stack, the suction apparatus is brought into contact with the surface of the folding box stack, and the suction apparatus is activated at least temporarily during the transfer of the folding box stack.
Sheet separating device and image forming apparatus
A sheet separating device includes a sheet separator that includes plural separating portions which have a planar shape and which are stacked one on top of another. The sheet separator has openings provided between the plural separating portions at both ends of the plural separating portions in a sheet passing direction. The sheet separator allows gaps between the plural separating portions facing one another to receive one of plural sheets apiece so as to cause the plural sheets to be kept separated from one another. The sheet separating device is held on a placement portion of a sheet processing apparatus that includes a sheet processing unit and the placement portion. The sheet processing unit sequentially feeds thereinto the plural sheets through a feeding opening and performs processing on the plural sheets. The plural sheets to be fed through the feeding opening are placed on the placement portion.
Printer tray extension kit
A printer tray extension kit which allows a printer to hold and receive longer pieces of paper is provided. The printer tray extension kit includes a base, an extension arm, a support stand, and a crossbar. The base provides a structural platform in order for the printer tray extension kit to hold pieces of paper. The extension arm provides a lengthening element in order for the print tray extension kit to hold longer pieces of paper if the base is not long enough. The support stand provides a structural reinforcement which maintains the printer tray extension kit in a raised position from a table surface or similar. The crossbar provides a structural reference bar which is used to attach the support stand to the base.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a medium storage cassette which includes a medium storage region and is capable of being inserted and removed with respect to an apparatus main body, in which the medium storage cassette includes a main cassette unit and a sub-cassette unit which is capable of switching between a first state and a second state which is displaced more in the removal direction than in the first state to expand the medium storage region, and in which the apparatus main body includes a cover which is provided to be capable of being displaced between a position corresponding to the first state of the sub-cassette unit and a position corresponding to the second state and which covers a top portion of the medium storage region on the removal direction side.
Feeding apparatus, and image forming system
A feeding apparatus feeds sheets to an apparatus serving as a feeding destination. A sheet storage unit stores the sheets and is able to be pulled out from the feeding apparatus. A stacking unit stacks the sheets. A detection unit detects a connected state and a separated state. A control unit places the uppermost sheet stacked on the stacking unit at a predetermined height when the detection unit detects the connected state. A control unit lowers the stacking unit so as to move the uppermost sheet at the predetermined height on the stacking unit to a position lower than the predetermined height in accordance with detection of a change from the connected state to the separated state by the detection unit.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A medium accommodation cassette includes a first medium accommodation portion that forms a portion of a medium accommodation region and a second medium accommodation portion that forms a portion of the medium accommodation region and is configured to be switchable between a first state and a second state in which the second medium accommodation portion is displaced from a position thereof in the first state in a cassette removing direction so as to stretch the medium accommodation region. A step portion on a side surface, which is formed between the first medium accommodation portion and the second medium accommodation portion, is positioned inside an insertion/removal mouth when the second medium accommodation portion assumes the second state in the state in which the medium accommodation cassette is installed in the insertion/removal mouth.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes an apparatus body, a drawer portion including a first contact portion, a feeding portion, and a pivot member configured to pivot between a first position and a second position, the pivot member constituting a part of a conveyance path at the first position, wherein the pivot member does not overlap a moving path of the drawer portion in a case where the pivot member is located at the first position, and overlaps the moving path in a case where the pivot member is located at the second position, and the pivot member includes a second contact portion that pivots the pivot member from the second position toward the first position while being in sliding contact with the first contact portion in a case where the pivot member is located at the second position and the drawer portion is being inserted into the apparatus body.
Paper Sheet Processing Device
Provided is a paper sheet processing device in which a plurality of paper sheets stacked after processing can be easily taken out in a state where ends thereof are aligned, without binding the paper sheets. The paper sheet processing device includes a stacking unit 6 that stacks therein the paper sheets after being processed by a processing unit 4. The stacking unit 6 includes a stacking unit main body 7, and a storage box 9 that can be taken in and out of a box storage space 7a of the stacking unit main body 7.
SHEET SUPPORTING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet supporting apparatus includes an apparatus body, a sheet supporting unit comprising a sheet supporting portion including a supporting surface on which a sheet is supported, and a first engagement unit attached to the sheet supporting portion, and a second engagement unit provided on the apparatus body and configured to draw in the sheet supporting unit toward an attaching position where the sheet supporting unit is attached to the apparatus body, wherein the first engagement unit comprises a first engagement portion, and a holder that is supported movably in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to the supporting surface and configured to hold the first engagement portion, and the second engagement unit comprises a second engagement portion configured to engage with the first engagement portion, and a drawing-urging portion configured to urge the second engagement portion.
SHEET FEED DEVICE AND IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
A housing is formed with a first opening and a sheet conveyance path. A tray is inserted into the housing through the first opening in a first direction and pulled out in a second direction opposite from the first direction. The tray supports a sheet. The tray includes a bottom plate, a front plate, and a cover. The bottom plate supports a sheet. The front plate protrudes upward from an end portion of the bottom plate in the second direction. The cover is configured to move between a first position at which the cover closes a second opening and a second position at which the cover opens the second opening. The second opening is defined by an end of a top plate in the second direction and an upper end of the front plate, the top plate covering an upper side of a space that accommodates a sheet.
