Post-processing apparatus and image forming apparatus including same
A post-processing apparatus for post-processing paper discharged from an image forming apparatus comprises: a paper discharging roller for conveying both first and second paper sequentially discharged from an image forming apparatus to an intermediate loading part; a main paddle part for conveying the first and second paper loaded on the intermediate loading part to a compiling region; a reverse roller for conveying, together with the main paddle part, the first and second paper to the compiling region; and a binding part for processing the first and second paper conveyed to the compiling region, the paper discharging roller allows the first paper to stand by on a standby path, and conveys the first and second paper to the intermediate loading part in a state in which the leading end of the first paper protrudes further than the leading end of the second paper.
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A post-processing device includes: a loading section that has a loading surface directed obliquely upward and in which a recording medium is loaded on the loading surface in a state where one end of the recording medium is directed downward; a supporting section that supports the one end of the recording medium loaded on the loading surface; a transporting section that is provided at a position facing an upper portion of the loading surface and that transports the recording medium downward toward the loading surface; and a pushing section that pushes a non-facing surface of the recording medium, which is opposite to a facing surface facing toward the loading surface, toward the loading surface to move the recording medium toward the loading surface, in a contact state where a part of the recording medium transported by the transporting section on a side of the one end comes into contact with the loading surface and a part of the recording medium on a side of an upper end is separated from the loading surface and comes into contact with the transporting section.
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A post-processing device includes: a loading section on which a bundle of recording media subjected to folding processing is loaded; a pushing section that moves in a thickness direction of the bundle of recording media, comes into contact with a surface, and pushes the bundle of recording media to form a folded portion; and a rotating section that starts an operation from a stopped state after the pushing section moves to a predetermined position, and sandwiches and rotates the folded portion of the bundle of recording media pushed by the pushing section to form a fold in the bundle of recording media.
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A post-processing device includes: a loading section that has a loading surface directed obliquely upward and in which a recording medium is loaded on the loading surface in a state where one end of the recording medium is directed downward; a supporting section that supports the one end of the recording medium loaded on the loading surface; and a correcting section that has a facing surface facing toward the loading surface and that corrects deflection of the recording medium by coming into contact with the recording medium in a posture in which a lower end portion of the facing surface approaches closer to the loading surface than an upper end portion from a side of the recording medium, which is loaded on the loading surface, opposite to the loading surface and by thereafter coming into contact with the recording medium while moving such that the upper end portion approaches the loading surface in a state where the lower end portion is in contact with the recording medium.
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A post-processing device includes: a loading section that has a loading surface directed obliquely upward and in which a recording medium is loaded on the loading surface in a state where one end of the recording medium is directed downward; a supporting section that supports the one end of the recording medium loaded on the loading surface; a transporting mechanism that transports a plurality of recording media transported one by one toward the loading section by shifting and stacking the recording media in a transport direction, and sets an amount of shift of the recording media on the basis of a predetermined condition; and a transporting section that bends each of the plurality of recording media transported from the transporting mechanism by applying a transport force to an upper end of each of the recording media opposite to the one end in a state where the one end is in contact with the supporting section, and separates one by one the recording media and loads the recording media on the loading surface.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a discharge unit, a loading unit, an abutting unit, a support unit, and a control unit. The discharge unit discharges, from a discharge port, a sheet bundle transported along a transport path. The loading unit is loaded by the sheet bundle being discharged onto the loading unit. The abutting unit is disposed forward from the discharge port in a discharge direction of the sheet bundle so that the abutting unit abuts with a top surface of the discharged sheet bundle. The support unit is protrusible from and retractable into the discharge port and protrudes to an underside of the sheet bundle temporarily to support the sheet bundle when the sheet bundle is discharged. The control unit controls movement of the support unit such that the support unit reaches a position of the abutting unit after the sheet bundle abuts with the abutting unit.
SHEET BINDING PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, AND SHEET BINDING PROCESSING METHOD
A bundle of printing media by eco-stapling often has a smaller thickness than a bundle of printing media by needle stapling by the thickness corresponding to an amount of used staples, although they have the same number of printing media, and there is room capable of stacking bundles in many cases in the eco-stapling. According to an embodiment, when a printing medium that has undergone an image forming process is taken in, stapling processing is performed on the printing medium, and then the printing medium is discharged to the tray, the following process is performed. That is, when the process is performed in accordance with instructed stapling processing, and the printing medium that has undergone the process is discharged outside the apparatus, the amount of printing media stacked on the tray is controlled in accordance with instructed stapling processing.
MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A medium processing apparatus includes: a binder to bind multiple sheets at a binding position to form a sheet bundle; a sheet inserter having an opening into which the sheet bundle is insertable from an outside of the sheet inserter to a bindable region having the binding position; and a binding position verifier allowing the multiple sheets, inserted from the opening to the bindable region, to be verifiable from an outside of the sheet inserter.
Sheet-stapling apparatus that staples center-folded sheets by staple, and image-forming system using the same
A sheet-stapling apparatus mounts a center-folded booklet and staples the booklet at a fold of the booklet by a staple. The sheet-stapling apparatus has a supporting member that mounts the center-folded booklet, a pushing member that pushes the booklet to the supporting member, a stapler that penetrates the staple through the booklet and a clincher that clinches legs of the staple to bind the booklet. The pushing member has a groove that pushes the fold of the booklet and maintains the fold of the booklet at a pushing angle. The supporting member forms the space between the clincher and the booklet.
SHEET BINDING PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCLUDING SHEET BINDING PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet binding processing apparatus includes a control unit configured to, when performing the binding process for continuously binding a sheet bundle including a predetermined sheet which is larger than a predetermined length in a conveyance direction, control a conveyance unit, a buffer conveyance unit, and an upper conveyance unit such that a sheet that forms a subsequent sheet bundle is sent from a conveyance path to an upper branching path, and the sheet is then conveyed in a switchback direction from an upper branching path to a buffer path.
