The present invention relates to systems and methods for calculating the additional local stretching of a moving web through a converting process in order, during rewinding, to find the position of defects in the web that were identified during winding and stopping the web with the web defect close to or at a defect correcting station. The method comprises, during rewinding of the web, the steps of detecting position markers (PM(n)) applied during winding of the web (5), measuring the distance between the position markers, calculating the additional local stretching between the position markers occurring during rewinding, applying the calculated additional local stretching to the known position of a following web defect to determine an estimated position of that web defect in the rewinding web. A method for correcting a web defect comprises the step of subsequently stopping the web with the web defect at, or close to, a defect repairing station (38).

WINDING DEVICE AND WINDING METHOD

The application provides a winding device and a winding method. The winding device includes a feeding mechanism and at least two winding members, and the feeding mechanism is used to provide an electrode sheet and a separation membrane. The winding device is provided with a winding station and a non-winding station, and each of the winding members is movable between the winding station and the non-winding station. When one of the winding members winds the electrode sheet and the separation membrane for a preset amount of turns at the winding station, said one of the winding members moves from the winding station to the non-winding station. Said one of the winding members releases a part of the separation membrane wound on said one of the winding members when said another of the winding members winds the electrode sheet and the separation membrane.

The present disclosure relates to winding device that includes a controller for determining a winding speed corresponding to a tension profile of a substrate to be wound and for outputting a motor control signal corresponding to the winding speed. The winding device includes an electric motor for rotating a winding core to wind the substrate according to the motor control signal; and a tension sensor that is installed on a conveying roller that transports the substrate wound around the winding core to precisely sense a tension value of the substrate in real time and provide the tension value to the controller. The controller dynamically controls the winding speed of the electric motor by using the tension value.
