Skateboard truck assembly
A truck assembly having a truck hanger with a flange and a pivot pin extension that may be inserted into a pivot cup of a mounting plate with a well with a pair of complementary fasteners aligning and securing a pair of bushings with a first portion of one bushing disposed within the well to restrain lateral movement of the first bushing when the hanger is tilted relative to the mounting plate whereby deformation of a bore of the bushing relative to one of the fasteners passing therethrough is reduced or eliminated while a second section assists in restoring the hanger back to an untilted orientation relative to the mounting plate.
SKATEBOARDS WITH A MULTI-WHEEL TRUCK
A multi-wheel truck that minimizes wheel interactions with discontinuous and uneven surfaces. The truck provides a suspension system that absorbs impact force caused by uneven surfaces and a unique attack angle that allows obstacles to be traversed when approached from a wide range of angles.
PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION APPARATUS
A personal transportation apparatus (10) in the form of a motorised board (12) including a chassis (14) arranged to support a first foot support portion (16) and a second foot support portion (18) spaced apart from the first foot support portion (16), a first ground engaging arrangement (20) located proximate the first foot support portion (16), and a second ground engaging arrangement (22) located proximate the second foot support portion (18), the first and second ground engaging arrangements (20), (22) being adapted to at least one of slide, rotate and move over a ground surface. At least one of the first and second ground engaging arrangements (20, 22) may include a motive track assembly (24a, 24b) having a roller arrangement (26a, 26b) to rotatably support an endless track (28a, 28b), the roller arrangement (26a, 26b) including a motorised roller (30a, 30b) housing a motor internally of the motorised roller (30a, 30b) so as to drive the endless track (28a, 28b).
Motor assembly
A motor assembly for a transport vehicle (such as a skateboard) having at least one wheel for rotating about a shaft having an end distal to the wheel and an end proximal to the wheel, the motor assembly comprising a stator fixed to the shaft, and a motor bell surrounding the shaft at the location of the stator, wherein the motor bell comprises a first end being adapted to be attached to the wheel for transferring rotational movement of the motor bell to the wheel, and a second end surrounding the shaft at the location of the end distal to the wheel, wherein the second end of the motor bell is a free end permitting removal of the motor bell during removal of the wheel. The motor bell being adapted to permit airflow therethrough for cooling of the motor assembly.
DETACHABLE SKATEBOARD ASSEMBLY
The detachable skateboard assembly includes a base part configured for detachable attachment to a board and an upper part configured for detachable attachment to the base part. The upper part is coupled to the base part in such a way that they can pivot relative to each other about a first pivoting axis. The detachable skateboard assembly further includes a wheel unit configured for attachment to the upper part and an elastomeric element arranged between the base part and the upper part such that the elastomeric element is compressed by the pivoting movement between the upper part and the base part. The elastomer element exerts a force tending to make the upper part and base part to recover a neutral position corresponding to the rectilinear displacement of the skateboard.
Skateboard Truck with Inverted King Pin and Integrated Kingpin Fastener
A skateboard truck includes a metal bolt called a kingpin and a threaded fastener, called a hex nut, which when combined hold the two main components of a truck together: the baseplate, which is mounted to the bottom surface of the skateboard deck; and the turning part of the truck called the hanger, which is mounted onto the baseplate by means of the kingpin, and affixed tightly into the baseplate by means of a threaded hex nut. Two bushings placed along the shaft of the kingpin and on either side of a flange protruding from the hanger hold the hanger in place by the tightening of the kingpin into the threaded shaft nut fastener. The kingpin is oriented such that a threaded portion of the kingpin (on an end opposite a bolt head portion) is generally facing towards a bottom surface of the skateboard deck.
Sliding balance board
A sliding balance board has an eccentrically mounted center wheel as a pivotable central balancing member, a wheel with one-way sprag clutch bearings mounted near the left end of the board and a wheel with one-way sprag clutch bearings mounted near the right end of the board. A user balances himself/herself on the board, and yet slides the board to the left and right, back and forth by shifting his/her weight left and right, synchronized to the rocking motion of the eccentrically mounted center wheel.

Personal transport apparatus
A personal transport includes a deck configured for supporting a rider in a standing position. At least one wheel assembly is mounted on a bottom surface of the deck, the, or each, wheel assembly having at least one wheel so that the deck can travel over a substrate. An operator handle is substantially rigidly mounted on a rear end of the deck and extends rearwardly from the deck so that an operator, standing on the substrate, can grasp the operator handle and push the apparatus along the substrate, or tilt the apparatus relative to the substrate, while the rider is supported on the deck. A rider handle mounted on one of the deck and the operator handle and positioned so that the rider can grasp the rider handle for balance while supported by the deck.
