TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS FOR A MOBILITY DEVICE
A power-drive shoe is described herein. A power-driven shoe may include a sole, a plurality of wheels disposed below the sole, a motor in driving connection with at least a portion of the plurality of wheels, a gearbox housing containing a transmission system connecting the motor to the at least a portion of the plurality of wheels, a control circuit operably connected to the motor and configured to control operation of the motor, and one or more strap mounting plates interfaced to a flexible strap configured to affix the power-driven shoe to at least one of a user's foot or shoe. The strap mounting plate may be affixed to the gearbox housing to provide a direct load path from the flexible strap to the gearbox housing.
TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS FOR A MOBILITY DEVICE
A power-drive shoe is described herein. A power-driven shoe may include a sole, a plurality of wheels disposed below the sole, a motor in driving connection with at least a portion of the plurality of wheels, a gearbox housing containing a transmission system connecting the motor to the at least a portion of the plurality of wheels, a control circuit operably connected to the motor and configured to control operation of the motor, and one or more strap mounting plates interfaced to a flexible strap configured to affix the power-driven shoe to at least one of a user's foot or shoe. The strap mounting plate may be affixed to the gearbox housing to provide a direct load path from the flexible strap to the gearbox housing.
SKATEBOARD TRUCK
A truck includes a base plate, a hanger, a kingpin, and a bushing assembly. The base plate includes a coupling portion and a contact portion. The kingpin is disposed within a portion of the hanger to rotatably couple the hanger to the base plate. The bushing assembly includes at least one bushing disposed in a recess of the contact portion and in contact with the hanger. The bushing assembly including a bushing adjustment coupled to at least one of the base plate or the hanger and configured to selectively engage the at least one bushing to transition the bushing assembly between a first configuration in which the at least one bushing exerts a first force in response to rotation of the hanger and a second configuration in which the at least one bushing exerts a second force different from the first force in response to rotation of the hanger.
Wheel assembly having a light up wheel hub
A wheel assembly configured to be rotationally engaged with a supported structure, the wheel assembly having a light up wheel hub having a light up ring, the light up ring having at least one light emitting device and a generator body configured to be in electrical communication with each light emitting device and an outer shell configured to be engaged with the light up ring, such that each light emitting device is enclosed within the outer shell, wherein the rotation of the light up wheel hub about a wheel rotational axis is configured to generate electrical energy to power each light emitting device. Thus an advantage is that each light emitting device may be sealed within the outer shell, protecting it from debris, fluids and other hazards. The light up wheel hub may be configured to engage with sinusoidally shaped wheel rims through selective adjustment of light emitting device positioning.
