The first sheet conveyor is configured to interpose the sheet between the first sheet feed roller and the second sheet feed roller and convey the sheet to the second sheet conveyor as the first sheet feed roller rotates.

An auto-adjusting separation mechanism, comprising: a bracket with at least one side arm, a sensor module arranged on the side arm, a rotary shaft arranged at the front end of the bracket; a separation roller set pivotally arranged on the rotary shaft, a sensor wheel arranged to couple with the sensor module, and a torque limiter arranged at the front end of the bracket; wherein, by monitoring the rotation of the sensor wheel with the sensor module, the separating force of the separation roller set is adjustable via a microcontrollers which is capable to adjust the transmission gear set.

A sheet feeding device includes a conveyance rotator, a separation rotator, a torque applier, a torque control circuit, and a torque transmission switcher. The torque applier applies a reverse torque to the separation rotator in a sheet reversing direction to reverse the sheet. The torque control circuit controls the reverse torque applied to the separation rotator to be equal to or less than a given value. The torque transmission switcher switches, between a transmission state and a non-transmission state, a state of a torque transmission path between the torque applier and the separation rotator. The transmission state is a state in which the reverse torque is transmitted. The non-transmission state is a state in which the reverse torque is not transmitted.

A conveyance device includes: a conveyance mechanism configured to unwind and convey a web from a web roll; a brake configured to brake rotation of the web roll; a controller configured to perform control of gradually reducing a torque of the brake and then turning off the brake in an operation of turning off the brake in a state where conveyance of the web by the conveyance mechanism is stopped and the brake is on with a tension applied to the web between the web roll and the conveyance mechanism.
