A handheld tape dispenser includes a first shell, a second shell releasably secured to the first shell, a spring-actuated tape applying mechanism, a knife, a roll of tape, a roller member, and a tape press roller. The adhesive tape frictionally passes the roller member and a gap between the front platform and the tape press roller to extend out of a front opening. A rearward movement of the button moves blades downward to sever the adhesive tape.

The controller is adapted to derive the set commands from the preview editing commands.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a stacking tray, a conveyance roller, a first sensor configured to detect the sheet, a second sensor configured to detect the sheet, the second sensor and the first sensor being located side by side in a width direction, a controller configured to execute stopping processing to stop conveyance of the sheet based on the first sensor and the second sensor, and a display portion configured to display a predetermined screen configured to set a different-width mixed stacking mode in a case where the stopping processing is executed based on the first sensor and the second sensor.

A printing apparatus includes: a holder configured to hold a medium; a conveyor configured to convey the holder; a printing device configured to print on the medium conveyed by the conveyor in response to a reception of a print instruction; and circuitry configure to: maintain the printing device in a busy state; receive the print instruction in the busy state; control the conveyor to start conveying the holder to a print start position in response to a reception of the print instruction in the busy state; hold the holder at the print start position in the busy state; and control the printing device to start printing on the medium in response to a release of the printing device from the busy state.

A feeding device includes a housing, a sheet feeder tray that mounts a sheet, a feeding unit which transports the sheet from the sheet feeder tray, and is detachable from a rotating shaft, and a control unit that controls rotation of the feeding unit. The feeding unit is provided in such a way as to be turnable to a feeding position to transport the sheet mounted on the sheet feeder tray and to a replacement position to enable detachment from the rotating shaft. When replacing the feeding unit, the control unit switches the position of the feeding unit to the replacement position.
