Low-rider profile roller skates
A low-rider roller skate having a first sole, a pair of front wheels attached to a front axle that is mounted to a front portion of the first sole, and a pair of wheels attached to a rear axle that is mounted to a rear portion of the first sole. The skate defines a longitudinal length, where the rear axle is perpendicular to the length, and the front axle is disposed at an angle to the length, such that the front axle is not parallel with the rear axle. The roller skate including a second sole member including a cap toe sized for receiving a toe-portion of the roller skate, and second heel that rests over a heel-portion of the roller skate, and an integral waist therebetween, the waist includes a front indent for receiving the front axle, and a rear indent for receiving the rear axle. With the second sole member attached, the skates no longer act as roller skates but are walking shoes. With the second sole member removed, the skates are low-rider skates.
Technologies for transportation
An apparatus comprising a platform and a plurality of trucks coupled to the platform. The trucks are longitudinally opposing each other. The apparatus further comprising a plurality of roller assemblies coupled to the platform. The assemblies are longitudinally opposing each other between the trucks. The assemblies are configured for omnidirectional rotation. The assemblies are elastically biased for longitudinal alignment. At least one of the assemblies comprises a motor.
Inline wheeled truck
An inline wheeled truck is a structural arrangement for wheels on a skating device. The inline wheeled truck includes a first wheel, a second wheel, a left elongated bracket, a right elongated bracket, a cross platform, a base platform, a first support member, and a second support member. The first wheel and the second wheel allows the inline wheeled truck to roll in a forward direction and a backward direction. The left elongated bracket and the right elongated bracket evenly space and structurally secure the first wheel and the second wheel. The cross platform structurally bridges the left elongated bracket and the right elongated bracket. The first support member and the second support member are connected in between the cross platform and the base platform and convert a tilting motion of the base platform into a steering motion of the cross platform.
ANGLED ROCKER AXLE SLOTS IN INLINE SKATE FRAME AND ADJUSTABLE INLINE SKATE SYSTEM
An inline skate frame is provided including a first inline skate frame wall and a second inline skate frame wall opposite the first inline skate frame wall. A channel is defined between the skate frame walls. The skate frame includes axle locating features, with each axle locating feature including at least one through-hole for receiving an axle such that the corresponding axle extends across the channel. At least one of the axle locating features includes a slotted cutout in one of the first and second inline skate frame walls. Also provided is an adjustable inline skate system utilizing the inline skate frame.
CASTER BOARDS WITH REMOVABLE INSERT
A caster board can include a front platform, a rear platform, and at least two neck sections extending between the front platform and the rear platform. The neck sections can serve as a torsion element allowing twisting of the front platform relative to the rear platform. An aperture between the neck sections can be configured to receive an insert. The insert can alter a structural characteristic of the caster board, such as the torsional stiffness of the caster board.
ROLLER SKI COMPRISING AN IMPROVED SHOCK ABSORBER DEVICE
The present invention is related to a roller ski with an adapted shock absorber device arrangeable inside a hollow backend of the roller ski body (16), wherein a first member (11) of the shock absorber device is supporting a backend wheel of the roller ski, a second member (14) is attachable to an inside surface of the hollow backend of the roller ski body (16), wherein a material strip (13) of a stretchable and compressible material is arranged in between the first and second member (11, 14).
Roller skate, associated kit, and system
A modular, multi-part roller skate is provided. The multi-part roller skate includes a roller skate body, a front wheel assembly, a rear wheel assembly, a support surface for supporting a footwear of a user, and at least one securing element for securing the footwear to the support surface. The multi-part roller skate is configurable as a modular roller skate with a removable pair of rear wheels, an interchangeable modular roller skate and ice skate, and an interchangeable modular roller skate and cross-country ski/snowshoe. In some embodiments, the multi-part roller skate can also be configured as a length-adjustable skate with a length adjustable skate body that includes separate front and rear foot support structures.
EXCHANGABLE INLINE SLIDE BODIES
A slide body (1) for ice sports equipment, in particular for skates, is proposed. The slide body (1) comprises two wall elements (14-1) which have a roller fastening portion (141), a mounting bar fastening portion (142),. and bearings (143) inserted in the roller fastening portion (141), as well as a multiplicity of rollers (15) arranged behind one another. The rollers (15) each comprise a shaft and are arranged between the first (14-1) and second wall element along the roller fastening portion (141), the shafts being inserted into the bearings (143) mounted in the wall elements (14-1). The rollers (15) further comprise a rolling face which has a ground surface.
