Dispenser for Rolled Sheet Materials with Belt Drive System
The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.
System and method for detecting a media supply
A system for detecting the level of a media supply in a printer has a frame having a support for seating the printer thereon. A first light source is positioned on the support and is energizable to direct a first beam of light into the printer. A first detector is positioned on the support and provides an analog signal in response to reflection of the first beam of light from within the printer. A control logic processor is in signal communication with the first detector and compares the analog signal to a stored/predetermined value and reports a low media condition according to the comparison.
Drum for Roll-To-Roll Deposition, Roll-To-Roll Deposition Apparatus and Film Roll
Disclosed herein is a drum for roll-to-roll deposition to rotate about a longitudinal axis. The drum is circular in a widthwise cross-section and has a shape in which opposite longitudinal edge portions each have a narrower width than a longitudinal central portion. By using the drum for roll-to-roll deposition according to embodiments of the present disclosure, it is possible to remove wrinkles occurring on a flexible substrate when a roll-to-roll deposition process is performed. As a result, it is possible to manufacture a film roll having a deposition layer with excellent widthwise thickness uniformity.
HEATED ROLLER, IN PARTICULAR FOR A TEXTILE PRINTER, AND TEXTILE PRINTER COMPRISING THIS ROLLER
A heated roller, in particular for a textile printer, comprising: a pair of stationary supports, an elongated tubular element located between said stationary supports and rotatably carried by said stationary supports about a longitudinal axis, a stationary infrared lamp extending inside said tubular element and having opposite ends supported by said stationary supports, a lamp support device extending between said stationary supports inside said tubular element and supporting the infrared lamp between said stationary supports, and an elastic device which applies an elastic tension to said lamp support device between said stationary supports in the direction of said longitudinal axis.
DEVICE FOR FEEDING PAPERS
Disclosed is a paper feeding device (10) comprising a storage surface (14) for a stack of papers (12), with a leading edge (14a), a trailing edge (14b), and a first and a second side edge (14c, 14d). The surface (14) is adapted to be moved vertically. The device further comprises a vacuum feeder (16) for feeding papers from their position on the storage surface (14) and imparting on an uppermost sheet of paper (12a) a horizontal displacement, and a blower arrangement (18, 20) adapted to provide a curtain of air separating the uppermost sheet of paper (12a) from the rest of the stack of papers. The blower arrangement comprises a front blower unit (20) having air openings with a first portion (20a) adapted to create first air cones (20a) and second portions (20b) adapted to create second air cones (20b), wherein the first air cones (20a) are different from the second air cones (20b).
AUTO SPLICING DEVICE OF ROLL TO ROLL FEEDING EQUIPMENT
An auto splicing apparatus of roll to roll feeding equipment includes first and second supply rolls in which component fabric of a single layer is wound in roll form and the component fabric is unwound from the first supply roll or the second supply roll along a predetermined transfer path including a pair of feeding rollers that are disposed at upper and lower sides, respectively, of the transfer path; a first cutter assembly that is installed to perform a first vertical rotation based on the transfer path between the first supply roll and the feeding roller and including a first fabric cutter and a first fabric absorption portion; and a second cutter assembly that is installed to perform a second vertical rotation based on the transfer path between the second supply roll and the feeding roller and including a second fabric cutter and a second fabric absorption portion.
Method and system for determining usage of a rolled or stacked product
A system and control method are provided for determining an amount of a product dispensed from or added to a product formation. At defined intervals, a mark is projected with a light source imager onto an aspect of the product formation that changes as the amount of product is depleted or added to the product formation. A digital image is taken of the aspect of the product formation that captures the projected mark and is transmitted to a digital imager processor, wherein a feature of the projected mark is analyzed that changes as the product formation decreases or increases in size as the product is dispensed or added. The analyzed feature is compared with a predetermined value of the feature at a predefined size of the product formation to determine an actual amount of the product on the product formation, or amount of product depleted from or added to the product formation.
Drug supply apparatus
A drug supply apparatus of the present disclosure includes a drug supply unit configured to supply a drug to a drug delivery position; a downstream conveying unit configured to convey a strip-shaped first drug packaging paper, folded in half in advance along its longitudinal direction and configured to receive a drug at the drug delivery position; and an upstream conveying unit configured to convey a strip-shaped second drug packaging paper, folded in half in advance along its longitudinal direction. In the apparatus, the upstream conveying unit conveys the second drug packaging paper toward the first drug packaging paper in such a way that the downstream end part of the second drug packaging paper holds in its inside the upstream end part of the first drug packaging paper, and the ridge line of the second drug packaging paper overlaps the ridge line of the first drug packaging paper.
