Barrel for Storing Conductors and Method of Use
A wire feeding barrel configured to reduce the risk of damage to the wire posed by a looping wire as the wire is pulled from the barrel and methods for using the same are disclosed herein. The wire feeding barrel may comprise an outer barrel for storing at least one wire and an extension member or attachment configured to extend from and/or be affixed at an opening of the outer barrel from which the wire is fed. The extension member or attachment may be configured to prevent the wire from looping as the wire is fed from the outer barrel. In some embodiments, the wire may include sequential footage markers configured to indicate a length of wire pulled from the wire feeding barrel and/or a length of wire remaining in the wire feeding barrel.
Edge contact substrate transport method and apparatus
A web path for conveying a web material includes at least two support rollers contacting a single major surface of the web material, wherein the web material is of indefinite length and has a first and a second edge. A first support roller contacts a first edge region of the web material, and a second support roller contacts a second edge region of the web material such that the web material has a substantial un-contacted region between the first and the second support roller including at least about 50% of the width of the web material. At least one of the first support roller and the second support roller are supported on a bowed shaft such that at least one of the first and second support rollers is angled with respect to the direction of motion of the web.
WINDING AND UNWINDING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL UNIT, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
A winding and unwinding system for electrode plate includes a winding and unwinding box, a cooling unit, and a control unit. The winding and unwinding box includes a box body and a box door jointly defining a box space, an electrode plate discharge port provided on a side of the box body, a rotating shaft provided in the middle of the box space, an electrode plate cylinder connected to and driven by the rotating shaft, a first temperature sensor monitoring temperature of the electrode plate, a first gas detector monitoring oxygen concentration inside the winding and unwinding box, gas inlet and outlets located at bottom and top of the box body, respectively. The cooling unit communicates with the gas inlet. The control unit controls the cooling unit to regulate the temperature of the electrode plate and the oxygen concentration inside the winding and unwinding box.
Dispenser
A dispenser for dispensing plastic film for vehicle repair, the dispenser including: a first support adapted to rotatably support a roll of plastic film, and an aperture, wherein the plastic film can be pulled through the aperture from the roll and retracted through the aperture towards the roll.
Stacking apparatus
A stacking apparatus includes a conveyance unit, a stacking unit, and a separation member supply unit. The conveyance unit conveys sheets for circuit board. The stacking unit stacks the sheets. The separation member supply unit supplies a separation member to separate the stacked sheets at any position. The separation member supply unit places the separation member on the sheet in being conveyed.
PRINTING APPARATUS, INSPECTION APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
In a printing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to inspect an image of a printed product where an image is printed accurately without scratching a print medium as the printed product. In the printing apparatus, first, a reading unit reads the image on the print medium conveyed by a conveyance unit, and a fixing unit fixes the print medium to a reading area by the reading unit. Then, control is performed so as to stop conveyance by the conveyance unit and fix the print medium by the fixing unit at the time of image reading, and release fixing of the print medium by the fixing unit and resume conveyance by the conveyance unit if the image reading is complete.
SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE, SHEET DISCHARGING DEVICE INCORPORATING THE SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCORPORATING THE SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND THE SHEET DISCHARGING DEVICE
A sheet conveying device, which is included in a sheet discharging device and an image forming apparatus, includes a contact body configured to rotate while contacting a sheet in conveyance, a shaft configured to rotate together with the contact body in a range of rotation of the contact body, a sheet detector configured to detect the sheet through detection of rotation of the shaft, and a rotary body support configured to rotatably support the contact body to the shaft, extending the range of rotation, in a same direction as the direction of rotation of the shaft. The sheet discharging device includes a sheet discharging body, a sheet stacker of the sheet discharged, and the above-described sheet conveying device. The sheet detector is a stack height detector configured to detec't that the height of the sheet stacked on the sheet stacker is equal to or higher than a predetermined height.
Transport device
A transport device includes a drive roller and a driven roller. The drive roller transports paper-sheets in a predetermined transport direction by rotation thereof. The driven roller rotates with rotation of the drive roller, and regardless of from which direction the paper-sheets hit a contact point with the first roller, moves in a direction diagonally forward than a vertical direction with respect to the transport direction. The transport device further includes a bearing groove formed so that a shaft of the driven roller moves in a direction diagonally forward than the vertical direction with respect to the transport direction along an inclined surface.
Web feeding of weak media
A printing system comprises a first bearing support for a first media roll of a first print medium and a second bearing support for a second media roll of a second print medium. Said first and second bearing supports are spaced apart from one another. A first print transport path extends from the first bearing support from the first media roll to a main transport path of the printing system. A second print transport path extends from the second bearing support to the main transport path of the printing system. An attachment transport path extends between the first and the second bearing support. The attachment transport path allows both print media to be brought together and attached to one another. Thereby, a relatively stiffer medium may be attached as a leader section to a relatively weaker medium.
SHEET STACKING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet stacking apparatus includes a storage storing a sheet, a conveyance unit, a sealing member, and a holder. The conveyance unit conveys the stored sheet in a conveyance direction. The holder movably holds the storage in a sheet width direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction. The storage includes a first unit and a second unit. The first unit includes a pair of regulating members that regulate both edges of the sheet stored in the storage in the sheet width direction. The second unit includes a second sealing surface disposed opposite to a first sealing surface provided on the holder. The sealing member is disposed between the first sealing surface and the second sealing surface. A relative position between the first unit and the second unit is changeable.
