Roll-dispensed stock container
A roll-dispensed stock container is provided with fixation strips attached to the body of the container and a cutter assembly attached to a lid of the container. Roll-dispensed stock is secured by the fixation strips when the lid of the container is in a closed configuration and the cutter assembly is configured to separate a sheet of the roll-dispensed stock of a desired length.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a placement unit on which sheets of paper are placed, a feeder that feeds a sheet, thrust mechanisms that push up the placement unit toward the feeder, and an edge guide. Each of the thrust mechanisms includes a coil spring that imparts an urging force to the placement unit, one case that is mounted on the placement unit and receives the coil spring from one end thereof and accommodates the coil spring, and another case that is disposed so as to partially overlap the one case and receives the coil spring from the other end thereof and accommodates the coil spring. The one case and the other case are configured to be movable relative to each other in the urging direction of the coil spring and to be rotatable together in the circumferential direction.
Cutter and Roll-Dispensed Stock Container
A roll-dispensed stock container is provided. The roll-dispensed stock container has a recessed cutting track and can be assembled by computer aided manufacturing processes.
HEAVY DUTY TAPE DISPENSER
The present disclosure relates to tape dispensers that provide an easy to use locking mechanism for loading and unloading a roll of tape thereon. The dispenser includes a generally U-shaped frame with a pair of flexible sidewall arm portions that extend rearwardly in a generally side-by-side spaced apart relation. The dispenser includes inwardly facing opposed first and second hub portions that have a roll surface, a bottom surface, and an abutment surface, wherein the roll surface is configured to support the roll thereon. The frame also includes a pair of interlocking tabs disposed on the bottom surfaces hub portions. The tabs include a locking means for securing the hub portions together wherein the abutment surfaces of the first and second hubs are in direct contact.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a displacement member configured to be in contact with discharged print media and be displaced according to the amount of a stack of the print media, and detects the stack amount based on the displacement of the displacement member. The apparatus performs a first or second detection operation based on the detected stack amount. In the first detection operation, after a specified number of print media are discharged with the displacement member positioned at the evacuation position where it does not come into contact with a print medium, the displacement member is brought into contact with the print media to detect the stack amount. In the second detection operation, the stack amount is detected with the displacement member in contact with the print media.
Printing apparatus
Provided is a technique capable of detecting the amount of a stack of discharged print media and increasing print speed. A printing apparatus includes a displacement member configured to be in contact with the discharged print media and be displaced according to the amount of the stack of the print media, and detects the stack amount based on the displacement of the displacement member.
MEDIUM CONVEYING APPARATUS TO DETECT PREDETERMINED MEDIUM BASED ON LIFT OF MEDIUM
A medium conveying apparatus includes a pick roller, a first lift sensor located on one side of the pick roller, a second lift sensor located on another side of the pick roller, a first detection sensor located on a same side as the first lift sensor, a second detection sensor located on a same side as the second lift sensor, and a processor to determine whether the medium is a predetermined medium, based on a detection result of a lift of the medium by the first or second lift sensor and to execute abnormality control when the medium is determined to be the predetermined medium, wherein the processor makes it difficult for the medium to be determined as a predetermined medium when it is detected that the first detection sensor side of the medium precedes the second detection sensor side.
Sheet feeding apparatus and an image forming apparatus
Disclosed is a sheet feeding apparatus including a tray unit capable of stacking a sheet at an opened position; a feeding member which feeds the sheet stacked on the tray unit; a feed supporting portion which supports the feeding member such that the feeding member is capable of moving to a feeding position for feeding the sheet stacked on the tray unit and to a storage position at which the feeding member is stored in the apparatus main body; and an urging portion which urges the feeding member toward the feeding position, wherein the feed supporting portion includes an abutting portion which abuts against a region other than a sheet stacking region of the tray unit for moving the feed supporting portion and for moving the feeding member to the storage position when the tray unit moves from the opened position to the closed position.
Sheet feeding apparatus
First and second detecting members that detect a sheet or an object lifted beyond a delivery position at which the sheet is delivered is provided, and the second detecting member is configured to be activated in conjunction with activation of the first detecting member. Thus, with a simple configuration, it is possible to detect, over a wide area above a sheet loading section, a sheet or an object placed at a wrong position.
Paper tray hold down finger system and method
A hold down finger for a finisher process tray contacts the top sheet of paper on a paper tray to prevent subsequently printed pages from disturbing pages disposed on the paper tray. The hold down finger includes gears that move a portion of the hold down finger that contacts the top sheet of paper from a retracted position to a forward hold down position along a substantially elliptical path. After each sheet is printed and placed on top of other pages in the paper tray, the paper tray lowers and the hold down finger continues along the substantially elliptical path back to the retracted position. A rack gear associated with the paper tray engages a cylindrical gear of the hold down finger to return the hold down finger to the retracted position if the paper tray is forced upwards while the hold down finger is in the forward position.
