A method for playing basketball in a court having first and second sidelines and a basket located at each opposed end of the court on a long axis of the rectangle includes providing a reduced court with third and fourth sidelines within the first and second sidelines, and a central line (fifth line) along a length of the court, wherein the third and fourth sidelines define an area between 70% to 80% of a regular court; and selectively playing a first game type based on the central line with two classes of players with between 4 and 16 players or playing a second game type inside the third and fourth sidelines with 8 or less players.

A court tile for an athletic event and method of marking and installing the same. A court tile includes a plurality of playing surface boards, a plurality of first sub floor members are disposed between surface boards and a second sub floor layer. Resilient pads are provided for cushioning of the court tile. A sliding pad covers the resilient pads to permit positioning of the court tile on the venue floor. A system and method of marking a court pre-printing a segment of the court markings on a court tile. A method of creating a court with markings includes pre-marking each of a plurality of court tiles with a selected segment of a court marking for which the court tile is intended and assembling a court surface according to a predetermined placement of the pre-marked court tiles.

A method of installing a binder-based overlay system may include contacting a layer of geotextile fabric to a surface of a substrate and applying a primer layer to a surface of the geotextile fabric. Two or more binder layers including infill particles may be applied over the primer layer. A resurfacer layer followed by one or more color layers may be applied over the two or more binder layers. The primer layer, one or more binder layers, resurfacer layer, and two or more color layers may cure upon application to form a monolithic layer upon the substrate.

A method of installing a binder-based overlay system may include contacting a layer of geotextile fabric to a surface of a substrate and applying a primer layer to a surface of the geotextile fabric. A sports court can include a set of modular floor panels or tiles that are interconnected with each other and that have material compositions configured to provide increased friction when a ball or other game piece comes into contact with the top surface of the panels or tiles. The sports court can be used to decrease the speed or otherwise affect bounce behavior of a game ball as compared to a concrete slab or similar underlying surface on which the floor panels are positioned, thereby giving the court performance characteristics more similar to a conventional court used for ball sports such as tennis and pickleball and that are improved as compared to conventional rigid floor tiles. The material compositions can include rubberized or elastomeric materials with coefficients of friction measured using standardized testing procedures.

A combination ramp system includes a first ramp, a second ramp, and a first connection assembly. The first ramp has a first inclined surface. The second ramp has a second inclined surface. The first connection assembly includes a first connecting member and a second connecting member. The first connecting member is provided with a first connecting portion and a first butting portion. A combination ramp system includes a first ramp, a second ramp, and a first connection assembly. The first ramp has a first inclined surface. The second ramp has a second inclined surface. The first connection assembly includes a first connecting member and a second connecting member. The first connecting member is provided with a first connecting portion and a first butting portion. The second connecting member is provided with a second connecting portion and a second butting portion connected to the first butting portion. The first connecting member has a first top surface adjacent to the first inclined surface. The second connecting member in the vertical direction has a second top surface adjacent to the second inclined surface.

A frame pool is disclosed including a frame assembly and a pool liner, the frame assembly including horizontal frame members and a vertical frame member coupled together via a T-shaped joint. The T-shaped joint may be constructed of plastic to facilitate attachment and detachment to the adjacent frame members and to resist galling and corrosion. The T-shaped joint may also be relatively small to improve the appearance and water containment of the frame pool.

A frame pool is disclosed including a frame assembly and a pool liner, the frame assembly including horizontal frame members and a vertical frame member coupled together via a T-shaped joint. The T-shaped joint may be constructed of plastic to facilitate attachment and detachment to the adjacent frame members and to resist galling and corrosion. A resilient platform assembly has a playing deck with horizontally disposed deck panels. Each deck panel has a pair of foot flanges on the bottom of the deck panels. Receiving shoes are attached to the deck panels and configured to receive the foot flanges of the deck panels. A transverse member, perpendicular to the horizontally disposed deck panels, includes a plurality of notches. Each notch is cut in the transverse member in a predetermined spacing pattern. The receiving shoes are installed in the notches and the deck panels are attached to the transverse member through the receiving shoes. Resilient mounts connect the transverse member to a support assembly and allow relative motion between the transverse member and the support assembly. The resilient mounts include a first spring capture assembly attached to the support assembly, a second spring capture assembly attached to the transverse members, and a plurality of springs disposed between the first spring capture assembly and the second spring capture assembly.
