Rotary Guide For One or More Lines
The invention relates to a rotary guide (1) for guiding at least one line (2) between two points (3, 4), which can be rotated relative to each other, without interruptions. Two receiving parts (12, 14) for receiving a respective sub-section of two sub-sections (29, 31), which are to be wound about the common rotational axis (X) in opposite directions, of a line section (2a), which can be received in the rotary guide (1), can be rotated relative to each other about a rotational axis (X). A deflecting unit (16) supports a deflecting region (18), in which the line section (2a) of the line (2) changes over between the opposite sub-sections (29, 31) in order to deflect the line (2) to be guided from one receiving part (12, 14) to the other receiving part (12, 14) in the event of a relative rotation. Each of the receiving parts (12, 14) has a spiral-shaped receiving groove (20, 22) with a plurality of windings (24, 26) for receiving a line section (2a), said windings running about the common rotational axis (X) from a starting radius (r.sub.a) to a final radius (r.sub.e), wherein the windings (24, 26) lie on a plane perpendicular to the common rotational axis (X). The deflecting unit (16) has an active surface (33) which extends or can be adjusted radially between the starting radius (r.sub.a) and the final radius (r.sub.e) and which interacts with the receiving grooves (20, 22) in order to transfer the line section (2a) from the receiving groove (20, 22) of the one receiving part (12, 14) to the receiving groove (20, 22) of the other receiving part (12, 14) in the event of a relative rotation.
FUEL LOADING HOSE REEL SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for liquid product delivery. In some embodiments a conduit assembly disposed partly beneath a deck or platform is fluidly coupled to a reel assembly via a rotary fluid coupler.
MICROWAVE WITH WATER DISPENSER
An over-the-range microwave appliance includes a pot filler water dispenser for dispensing water to a vessel situated on a cook top below the microwave. The microwave includes a pot filler housing adjacent a cooking cavity that creates a recess into which the pot filler is housed that is not visible from the front of the appliance. The pot filler includes a dispensing hose or conduit that is retractable or retractably mounted within the pot filler housing recess. The dispensing hose is biased into a stowed position and can be pulled against the bias to place the dispensing hose into a deployed condition, thereafter returning to its stowed position.
Device and process for the manufacture of hollow fiber membrane bundles
The present disclosure relates to devices and processes for the production of hollow fiber membrane bundles. The bundles are used for the manufacture of filtration and/or diffusion devices, e.g., capillary dialyzers.
Reel with automatic line extension
An automatic line reel includes a flexible line wound onto a motor-driven reel assembly. A processor controlling the motor detects contact pressure between the flexible line and a triangular pressure transducer, automatically extending the flexible line when the contact pressure exceeds a preset threshold. Line extension stops when contact pressure falls below a second preset threshold. The flexible line may be retracted and rewound around the reel assembly by activation of a switch on a wireless remoted control, by a switch on the automatic line reel, or by activation of a smart phone application program in data communication with the processor controlling the reel assembly. A reel assembly is optionally configured to maintain uninterrupted fluid communications through the automatic line reel as the reel assembly rotates. The reel assembly may optionally be configured to maintain uninterrupted electrical signal communication through the automatic line reel.
Touchless Cleaning Assembly
A touchless cleaning assembly for cleaning a room in a touch-less manner includes a cabinet is recessed into a wall of a room. A plurality of hose reels is positioned in the cabinet and each of the hose reels includes a hose that is drawable outwardly from the cabinet for spraying a fluid for cleaning surfaces in the room, for blowing air to dry the surfaces and to vacuum the surfaces. An air compressor is positioned within the cabinet to direct compressed air into a respective hose reel to dry the surfaces. A vacuum is positioned within the cabinet to supply vacuum pressure to the a respective hose reel for suctionally removing the fluid from a floor of the room.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEPLOYING COILS OF SPOOLABLE PIPE
A system for deploying a coil of spoolable pipe from a vessel includes a first tower configured to move longitudinally and transversely along a first track coupled to the vessel, a second tower configured to move longitudinally along a second track coupled to the vessel, and a coil drum assembly coupled to the first tower. The first tower is configured to insert the coil drum assembly transversely into an interior channel of the coil when the coil drum assembly is in a retracted position, the coil drum assembly is configured to support the coil when the coil drum assembly is in an extended position and rotate during deployment of the spoolable pipe, and the first tower and the second tower are configured to move the coil drum assembly vertically.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURING MEDICAL DEVICES
A system comprises a substrate having a plurality of apertures, and a clip. The clip is removably coupled to one of the plurality of apertures. The clip has a body, a plurality of fingers, a first leg, a second leg, a first notch, and a second notch. The fingers extend from the body to collectively form at least two tube-engaging regions. The first leg is adjacent to a first end of the body and extends from the body opposite the fingers. The second leg is adjacent to a second end of the body and extends from the body opposite the fingers. The first notch is adjacent to the first end of the body and is configured to receive a first portion of the substrate. The second notch is adjacent to the second end of the body and is configured to receive a second portion of the substrate.
