One-piece hose guide for hose reel deck box
A hose guide for a hose reel deck box is provided. More specifically, the hose guide is a one piece, or unitary body, component. The unitary body hose guide is structured to snap-fit to one or two travel bars that are part of the unitary body of the hose reel deck box housing assembly. The hose guide preferably includes two semi-enclosed passages that are structured to be slidably coupled to the travel bars.
Hose reel deck box
A basket assembly coupling assembly is provided. The basket assembly coupling assembly is structured to support a unitary housing component. That is, a unitary sidewall is thin and subject to wear and tear resulting from stress on the unitary sidewall when the hose, and more specifically the basket assembly, is wound. The basket assembly coupling assembly is structured to support the unitary sidewall proximate the coupling of the basket assembly to the unitary sidewall.
DECONSTRUCTABLE COILED TUBING SPOOL AND METHOD OF SHIPPING SAME
A deconstructable coiled tubing spool is disclosed and includes one or more flange segments, and a core comprising a flange portion that is adapted to couple and decouple from each of the one or more flange segments, wherein the core remains intact when the one or more flange segments are decoupled from the flange portion. One or more of the deconstructable coiled tubing spools can be deconstructed and stored in a standard shipping container for shipment.
CARRIER FOR POSITIONING EROSION CONTROL BARRIER SEGMENTS
A carrier for an elongated, weighty tubular member, and more particularly to such a carrier suitable for use in loading thereon at a first location, transporting to a second location and dispensing along a boundary line along the ground, a flexible, tubular member intended for use as an erosion barrier.
Housing stiffener for hose reel deck box
A stiffener structured to support a unitary housing component comprised of substantially flat sidewalls is provided. A unitary housing comprised of substantially flat sidewalls, e.g. a housing for a hose reel, is a housing component that is substantially free of support ribs and other contoured surfaces. The stiffener is molded separately from the unitary housing component and coupled thereto. Preferably, the stiffener is a band extending under, or about, the perimeter of the lower side of the unitary housing component. Use of the stiffener allows the unitary housing component to remain free of substantial support ribs and other contoured surfaces thereby allowing for less expensive molds and a reduced failure rate of produced elements.
Auto-Balancing Hose System and Method for Fluid Transfer
The present invention provides an auto-balancing hose system and a method for fluid transfer between an onshore facility and a floating vessel. The system comprises a transfer pipeline extended from the onshore facility to a loading platform, a hose with a first end fluidly connected to the transfer pipeline and a second end fluidly connected with a ship manifold on the floating vessel, a hose saddle or rigid coupler that elevates the hose in the middle and divides the hose into a riser at the first end and a U-tube next to the second end, and a counterweight or a winch with a predetermined pulling force that is adapted to maintain a top tension to the riser. The hose is kept away from water and in tension, and adapted to accommodate vessel motions as well as relative displacements between the transfer pipeline and loading platform.
APPARATUS TO STORE A DROGUE HOSE ON AN AIRCRAFT
Apparatus to store a drogue hose on an aircraft are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes a drum to rotate in a first direction to coil a hose and a second direction to uncoil the hose, a carriage at least partially surrounding the drum, the carriage including rollers to guide the hose as the hose is coiled and uncoiled, the carriage having an outer surface covering the rollers and wheels coupled to the carriage, the wheels to facilitate movement of the carriage along a length of the drum as the drum rotates.
MARINE PIPELINE INSTALLATION VESSEL AND METHOD FOR LAYING AN OFFSHORE RIGID PIPELINE IN THE SEA
A marine pipeline installation vessel and a method are provided for laying an offshore rigid pipeline in the sea, the vessel at least being adapted to carry out the rigid reel lay method. The vessel includes at least one vertical storage reel for the storage of a spooled rigid pipeline. A left and right reel support structure are provided to support the weight of the at least one storage reel. The left and right support structures are embodied to form a pivoting structure allowing an angular adjustment of the horizontal reel axis about a vertical axis to alter the angular position of the at least one storage reel.
Hose Storage Apparatus
The hose caddy for expandable hoses comprises a housing formed from a bottom surface and sidewalls to define an open interior. A top is hingedly coupled to the housing to control access to the interior of the housing. A flexible elongated body is coupled to the housing using a guidance rail assembly. The flexible elongated body can be extended or retracted along the guidance rail assembly, and includes a hook for attaching the hose caddy to a water faucet.
HIDDEN POOL VACUUM SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A pool vacuuming system is comprised generally of a control box, containing a reel motor, and a reel box comprised of a turnable reel and a vacuum hose. The reel motor is powered and operated independently of the pool pump. Separate powering of this system from the pool pump negates issues of reduced power when the pool filter goes uncleaned. Since the vacuum reel is powered and operated by the separate control unit, the vacuum hose is allowed to move in and out of the reel box every time the pool pump turns off or on with consistent power and efficiency, making the movement of the hose more reliable.
