The power cable arrangement includes at least one power cable wound on the cable drum with at least one cable end configured to pre-installing at a cable connection of a wind energy device. The power cable is wound on the cable drum such that a first section of the power cable is wound inversely to a further section of the power cable.
Smart Cord Reel
A smart cord reel cable including at least one sensor for measuring cord or cord reel usage, a memory for receiving sensor input to create usage records, and a processor for analyzing the usage records to provide information for maintenance status indication and/or usage analytics.
CHARGING APPARATUS
A charging apparatus for a handheld electronic device includes a housing configured to removably attach to the handheld electronic device. The housing includes at least one electronic logic board, and an accessory station configured to store and charge at least one accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The electronic logic board includes a coil configured to wirelessly provide or accept power to and from the handheld electronic device. A software installed on the electronic logic board is configured to control a power transfer between at least two of the following: the accessory item, the accessory station, the housing, and the handheld electronic device. The housing includes a magnetic material configured to removably attach to a corresponding magnetic material of the handheld electronic device.
Cable guide
A cable guide has a plurality of parallel cylindrical sleeves connected together and radially distributed about a center axis. Each sleeve has open ends and a lengthwise opening of an arc of about 10 to 150 degrees extending between the open ends and running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The sleeves receive and hold electrically conducting cables on a spool or in a conduit.
ROPE DISPENSING DEVICE
Aspects of the present invention relate to a rope dispensing device for delivering elongated material such as rope, wire, or hosing and generally has a mounting frame operatively coupled to a material feeding device comprising a wheel and pinch device, an adjustable shroud, and a stabilizing device. The elongated material is received into the material feeding device from a first location and driven through the rope dispensing device by the wheel to be output at a second location. The adjustable shroud may be positioned about the periphery of the wheel so as to direct the output elongated material from the rope dispensing device. The invention is at least partially supported by the stabilizing device operatively coupled to a body of a user. Additionally, the stabilizing device is extendable, collapsible, and detachable allowing the invention to take on a more compact form for easier storage and/or transportation.
FLEXIBLE HELICAL CORD MANAGEMENT DEVICE
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a flexible cord management device is provided. The device includes a helical coil base, an s-loop, and a post. The base can be wrapped around at least a portion of a bundled cord. The s-loop includes a first loop and a second loop, where the first loop is coupled to a first end of the base. The first loop can be opened to receive a first end of the bundled cord, such that, the first end of the bundled cord is securely disposed through the first loop. The second loop is coupled to the first loop. The post extends from the first end of the base and can be inserted through the second loop to secure the first loop in a closed position and removed from the second loop to enable the first loop to achieve an open position.
DEVICE FOR WINDING UP AND UNWINDING AN ELONGATED FLEXIBLE ELEMENT
A device for winding up and unwinding an elongated flexible element having a free end and a spatially fixed end. The elongated flexible element is divided over its length at least into a use portion and a compensation portion, wherein the use portion has the free end and the compensation portion has the spatially fixed end. The device includes a rotatable drum configured on its circumference to wind up and unwind at least the use portion in a first winding plane, wherein the end of the compensation portion is spatially fixed relative to the drum. The elongated flexible element in the transition from the use portion to the compensation portion is fixed at a fastening point to the drum, and when the drum is rotated the compensation portion is coiled up and uncoiled in the form of at least one looped portion in a second winding plane.
Charging and storage system
A storage system includes a protective housing member configured to mate with a handheld electronic device. The protective housing member includes a charging area formed between a surface of the protective housing member and a surface of an accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is configured to charge the accessory item of the handheld electronic device. The charging area is powered by at last one power component of the protective housing member or at least one power component of the handheld electronic device. The storage system further includes at least one integrated circuit which is either a component of the handheld electronic device or a component of the protective housing member.
DEVICE FOR STORING ELECTRICAL CORDS
A device for storing excess electrical cord length on or near an electrical outlet. The device features one or more protrusions or cleats that extend away from the surface of the outlet cover into a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the plane in which the outlet cover rests. Each protrusion has an attachment portion, a body portion and a flange located at the end or terminus of each protrusion. The flange is shaped to retain electrical cords that are wrapped around the body of the device in that the flange extends away from the terminus of the protrusion into a plane that is substantially parallel to the plane of the outlet cover. Further, the body includes an opening through which a plug can be passed. Alternately, the device could feature two or more protrusions side by side and need not be directly attached to an electrical outlet cover.
Control system for electrical cord reel
In an electrical cord reel, a rotatable member can rotate about a winding axis to spool and unspool a linear material. An input power connector can couple to an electrical power source. An output power connector on the rotatable member can couple to an electrical cord at least partially wound about the rotatable member. A switch is adjustable to allow or prevent electrical current flow from the input power connector to the output power connector. In an aspect, the electrical cord reel includes an electric cord comprising a first power wire, a second power wire, and a signal wire. A method of controlling the electric cord spool system includes energizing the first power wire and the signal wire. The method further includes determining a continuity of the signal wire.
