A cord reel assembly including a single, continuous cord having stationary and retractable segments, with the stationary segment including multiple connectors and sheath covering such connectors where the connectors twist and untwist relative to the sheath in response to the retract and extension of the retractable segment.

Lock-in-place feeding sheave assembly

A feeding sheave assembly for use at the open end of a conduit into which a wire or cable is to be fed during a wire or cable-pulling operation includes an elongated sleeve portion which is insertable endwise into the open end of the conduit and an abutment plate for abutting the open end of the conduit when the sleeve portion is fully inserted within the conduit. An arrangement is provided for releasably locking the sleeve portion in a stationary relationship with the conduit, and a sheave is rotatably mounted upon the abutment plate so that when the sleeve portion is releasably locked within the open end of the conduit, a wire or cable which is directed into the conduit end during a wire or cable-pulling operation moves across and then off of the peripheral roller surface of the sheave before moving into the conduit end.

Rotatable Cable Reel

A cable reel of the present disclosure can include two flanges and a central drum being independently rotatable from one another. The drum, which can be configured to receive a cable, can be mounted on an axle. The two flanges can be rotationally mounted on the axle at opposing distal ends of the axle. Bearings in the flanges can allow for a full rotation of the flanges about the axle.

CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Cable-management systems can hold a speaker device and can hold at least a portion of an electrical cable of the speaker device. In some embodiments, a cable-management system includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion separated by at least one upward-facing surface configured to vertically support the speaker device. The upward-facing surface can be a ledge or a wall that stretches all the way across a cylindrical cable management system. The upper portion can hold the speaker device while the lower portion holds the electrical cable. The electrical cable can be wrapped around a post of the housing such that the cable is hidden inside the cable management system.

ENERGY SUPPLY SYSTEM

An energy supply system includes a cable store for winding and unwinding an energy cable about a winding center of the cable store. A carrier is provided for the at least one energy cable, and the cable store has an opening for the inlet and outlet of the carrier and the energy cable. The carrier can be guided through the opening in order to guide the carrier and the energy cable in sections in the cable store to the winding center of the cable store over a first guide path through a first guide arc, over a second guide path, which adjoins the first guide arc, through a second guide arc, and over a third guide path, which adjoins the second guide arc and lies further inwards relative to the winding center than the first guide path, and optionally over additional guide paths and guide arcs, using guiding means.

MOVEMENT-TOLERANT WIRING ARRANGEMENT FOR A STAND DEVICE
20170222419 · 2017-08-03 ·

The invention relates to a movement-tolerant wiring arrangement (10), more particularly for a stand device (1) configured for arrangement in an operating room, comprising a mounting apparatus (20) for movement-tolerant mounting of at least one line (70), more particularly a cable, about an axis of rotation (D) between two connection components (3; 4; 104) that are displaceable, more particularly twistable, relative to one another; and a fastening apparatus (30; 130) for arranging the at least one line relative to one of the connection components (3; 4; 104), more particularly at a socket of the stand device; wherein the mounting apparatus (20) is fixable to the fastening apparatus (30; 130) and configured for movement-tolerant, in particular, rotation-tolerant guidance of the at least one line about the axis of rotation and/or in the direction at least approximately parallel to the axis of rotation. Furthermore, the invention relates to a rotary joint, a socket or a stand device, respectively, with such a wiring arrangement, and the use of such a wiring arrangement (10) at a stand device (1), more particularly in the operating room.

Line guiding system for at least one supply line which can be coiled and uncoiled and rotary guide therefor
11235947 · 2022-02-01 · ·

The proposed line guiding system for at least one heavy and/or rigid line, for example a power cable for shore-side power supply for a ship (alternative maritime power), has a winding device which is rotatable about an axis of rotation for coiling and uncoiling the line and a rotary guide for the line from a first point to a relatively rotatable second point. The rotary guide has a helical guiding course having first helical layers, in which the line is wound about the axis of rotation, and second helical layers, in which the line is wound in the opposite direction. A return curve connects the two helical layers. According to the invention, the rotary guide has a tubular support sleeve which is coaxial with respect to the axis of rotation and serves to support the helical layers radially outwards or radially inwards. Furthermore, a rotary decoupling structure is provided, by which helical layers supported on the support sleeve are decoupled from the winding device.

Cable spool and storage

Systems and methods of dispensing telecommunications cable from a network component are provided. A system includes a housing, an axle, and a spool. The housing defines an interior region and includes a cable storage portion and a mounting surface defining a receptacle. The axle is configured to removably attach to the receptacle. The spool is configured to be disposed on the axle, and has a first flange proximal to the mounting surface and a removable second flange distal to the mounting surface when the spool is disposed on the axle.
