Switching mechanism for traction device
A switching mechanism for traction device is provided, including: a push-pull button 1, a push-pull button decoration ring 2, a switching button 3, a reset spring 4, a right shell 5, a reel 6 and a left shell 7; wherein the push-pull button decoration ring 2 is sleeved on the push-pull button 1, in such a manner that the push-pull button 1 is fitted with a cambered surface of the left shell 7 and a cambered surface of the right shell 5; the switching button 3 is sleeved in the push-pull button 1; the push-pull button 1, the push-pull button decoration ring 2 and the switching button 3 form an integrated unit and are provided on the right shell 5 and the left shell 7. Sealing treatment is performed, in such a manner that deep hole directly entering internal part of the products is prevented.
Air hose retention system
The air hose retention device includes a first connector pivotally engaged to a top and an outer spool having a receiving area. A second side of a housing is rotatably engaged to a first side. A cable is wound on the outer spool. A spring is disposed in the receiving area. Pulling of the cable causes rotation of the second side in a first direction and the coiling of the spring. Movement of the cable towards the housing uncoils the spring winding the cable about the outer spool and rotating the second side in a second direction. The cable has a releasable connector which is engaged to a connector hose of a trailer. The air hose retention device may be easily disconnected from both a cab and a connector hose for storage or transportation in a cab of a truck during periods of nonuse.
Two-Part Locking Polymer Hub for Cable Self-Retracting Device
Provided is a self-retracting device including a rotatable hub assembly. The rotatable hub assembly includes a first half and a second half. The first half includes a slot for an axle. The second half includes a retraction member and a slot for the axle. The self-retracting device also includes an axle with a body extending through the slot of the first half and the slot of the second half and a line. A first end of the line includes a loop, wherein the loop is between the first half and the second half and the axle body extends through an opening defined by the loop. The rotatable hub assembly is configured to retract the line when the rotatable hub assembly moves in the first rotational direction and pay out the line when the rotatable hub assembly moves in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.
AUTOMATIC WIRELESS DECOY JERK STRING SYSTEM
An automatic wireless decoy jerk string system is disclosed. The system includes a main housing, a drive housing, and a flotation housing. The main housing contains a retractable reel wound with a line. The drive housing contains a direct current motor, a battery for powering the motor, and a wireless receiver. The flotation housing contains a counterweight and flotation material. The drive housing and the flotation housing are attached to either side of the main housing. A drive shaft runs from the drive housing through the main housing and into the flotation housing. The motor engages the drive shaft to operate the reel. The motor is controlled by signals from the receiver in response to a wireless signal received by the receiver from a remote control to cause the reel to alternatingly retract the line and let out the line.
ROPE EDGE PROTECTOR
A rope edge protector for protecting a rope as is passes over an edge during rope access and rope rescue is described. The rope edge protector comprises a body with a curved channel portion on an outer surface configured to receive at least one rope, wherein the channel portion is enclosed by a pair of side walls; a first underside surface configured for placement on a first face of an edge; and a second underside surface forming a dihedral angle with the first underside surface and configured for placement on a second face of an edge. An attachment mechanism comprising a strap connects the body to a second body and to a cam for tensioning the strap between the bodies to secure the bodies to opposing edges.
Automated String Winding Handheld Tool
The present invention relates to a handheld (i.e. single-handedly held) tool for automatically winding string, line, cordage, yarn, thread, and twine onto a spool. The tool includes a handheld and portable threaded mechanism upon which a spool is mounted. Spools of various lengths can be mounted onto the threaded mechanism using a height-adjustable cap. An internal motor is configured to rotate the threaded mechanism and mounted spool for automatically winding string, et. al. A handle of the tool houses rechargeable batteries that are coupled with the internal motor and a push button disposed on the handle activates the motor for rotating the threaded mechanism. The tool includes a USB charging port for receiving a USB cable for recharging the rechargeable batteries.
String winding and unwinding apparatus
Embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus for convenient tightening and loosening of strings such as those found in shoelaces of footwear. The apparatus includes a rotating portion within a base portion. A cover portion, when operated in a first position, provides a ratchet movement that allows rotation in a tightening direction while preventing movement in a loosening direction. When the cover is moved to a second position, the ratchet mechanism disengages, and the strings can then be easily loosened.
Remote controlled retractable leg restraint device
A remote controlled retractable leg iron device provides a restraint device which can be used by police or any other authority to maintain control of persons while in transport. The device is remote controlled so an operator can control the wearer from a distance. The cuffs are secured to the legs of the wearer and are attached to the housing unit by cables which coil around winch drums within the housing unit. The winch drums rotate freely in a normal operation mode so that the wearer can walk or move with little resistance. In an emergency mode, the device retracts the wire cables into the housing unit so that the wearer's legs are restrained tightly together—removing the lack of resistance and thus stopping the wearer's motion. The emergency mode is activated using the remote control.
Spool holding apparatus and method
A spool holding device configured to fold upon itself in a storage mode and to support a spool of wound material in an operation mode. The device includes a base upon which a pair of feet, a pair of legs, a hoop segment and a horizontal axis are detachably connected for quick set-up and take-down of the device. The hoop segment is positioned a clearance distance from the horizontal axis and includes a wide hoop through which the wound material may pass such that unwinding of the material without undue force is achieved; the hoop also includes a contact surface having a large bend radius.
Control system for cables or similar
System for controlling the loading or unloading a cable [2] or the like onto a drum [3], wherein the drum [3] has a known first rotation axis loading or unloading the cable, the system also comprises an imaging means [1] aimed at the cable [2] from a position at a distance from the drum rotation axis, the imaging means [1] being adapted to measure the direction of the cable [2] relative to the rotational axis of the drum. The imaging means can be constituted by a video camera.
