Sheet separation device, laminator, image forming apparatus, and image forming system
A sheet separation device separates a non-bonding portion of a two-ply sheet in which two sheets are overlapped and bonded together at a bonding portion of the two-ply sheet. The sheet separation device includes a winding roller and a gripper. The winding roller rotates and winds the two-ply sheet to separate the two-ply sheet. The gripper is disposed in the winding roller and configured to grip a gripped portion of the two-ply sheet at one end of the two-ply sheet without abutting a tip of the gripped portion at the one end of the two-ply sheet on a member.
Sheet post-processing apparatus
A sheet post-processing apparatus including a binding mechanism, a tray, a shift mechanism, and a control unit is provided. The binding mechanism is configured to apply binding to a sheet. The sheet applied with the binding is stacked on the tray. The shift mechanism is configured to perform a shift operation in which a side surface of the sheet is pushed and the sheet is deviated in a sheet width direction orthogonal to a discharge direction during discharge of the sheet to the tray. The control unit is configured to cause the shift operation to be performed by dividing the number of times for the shift operation into a plurality of times.
POST-PROCESSING DEVICE
A post-processing device includes a first discharge section that discharges a medium subjected to recording by a recording device, a first tray on which the medium discharged by the first discharge section is mounted, a post-processing section that performs post-processing on the medium mounted on the first tray, a pressing section configured to perform a leading-end pressing operation of lowering a leading end of the medium by pressing the medium discharged by the first discharge section, and a control section that controls the pressing section, in which the control section performs the leading-end pressing operation after the medium is mounted on the first tray.
MEDIUM STACKING APPARATUS AND POSTPROCESSING APPARATUS
A stacking unit includes a processing tray, an alignment section, a transport section, and a moving section. The processing tray has a placement area in which one or more paper sheets are placed. The alignment section aligns leading edges of the paper sheets. The transport section transports the paper sheets to the alignment section. The moving section moves the paper sheets in ±X directions. The alignment section includes: a first alignment surface having a first friction coefficient; and a second alignment surface having a second friction coefficient. The second alignment surface is positioned upstream of the first alignment surface in a +A direction and closer to a center of the placement area in the ±X directions than the first alignment surface is.
SHEET POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
A sheet post-processing apparatus includes a first regulating device regulating a position of a sheet bundle, by contacting to an end part of the sheet bundle conveyed in a conveying direction by a conveying device and stacked on a stacking device in a direction intersecting with the conveying direction; a second regulating device regulating a position of the sheet bundle in the conveying direction, by contacting to an end part of the sheet bundle stacked on the stacking device in the conveying direction; a first binding device configured to move from one side to another side of the sheet post-processing apparatus and from the other side to the one side by moving in the intersecting direction, and configured to bind a corner part of the sheet bundle using a staple, and a second binding device configured to bind a corner part of the sheet bundle without a staple.
Recording system and processing apparatus to prevent jamming
A recording system includes a recording portion that performs recording on a medium, a stacking portion that stacks the medium recorded by the recording portion, and a processing portion that processes a bundle of media stacked on the stacking portion, in which a controller that controls feeding of the medium to the stacking portion determines a maximum number of sheets of media to be stacked on the stacking portion, based on information on swelling of the medium recorded by the recording portion.
Folding apparatus and image forming system incorporating same
An embodiment of this disclosure provides a folding apparatus configured to stack and fold a designated number of sheets at a time. The folding apparatus includes a conveyor configured to sequentially convey the designated number of sheets, a stacker configured to temporarily store a sheet conveyed by the conveyor to stack the designated number of sheets, a sheet folding device configured to fold the designated number of sheets at a time, and control circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to cause the sheet folding device to fold the stored sheet in response to an occurrence of a sheet jam upstream from the stacker in a direction of sheet conveyance, in processing the designated number of sheets.
RECORDING MATERIAL PROCESSING APPARATUS
A recording material processing apparatus includes: first teeth that are used for binding processing of a recording material bundle; second teeth configured to move toward the first teeth and to press the recording material bundle positioned between the first teeth and the second teeth; a first metal block configured to support the first teeth; and a second metal block configured to support the second teeth.
Post-processing device
A post-processing device includes a processing tray on which a medium recorded by a recording portion is loaded, and a first paddle which is an example of a transportation member provided above the processing tray and rotating to transport the medium toward the upstream in a transport direction. In addition, the post-processing device includes a roller which is an example of a rotating body provided above the rotation shaft of the first paddle, and a paddle unit frame which is an example of an upper member provided above the roller. The roller and the paddle unit frame are positioned within a rotation locus of the first paddle.
CONVEYANCE DEVICE WITH ACCESS COVER CAPABLE OF EXPOSING INTERNAL STRUCTURE
A conveyance device includes a locking mechanism for an access cover. The locking mechanism includes a cooperating lever and a locking shaft attached to the cooperating lever. The locking shaft is slidable in an axial direction thereof between a locking position where the locking shaft engages in a locking groove of the access cover and a second unlocking position located lateral o the locking groove. When in the second unlocking position, the locking shaft engages with an engaged portion provided at part of a housing or at a fixed frame attached to the housing to constrain the cooperating lever against downward movement of a distal end of the cooperating lever. The locking mechanism further includes an operating member coupled to the locking shaft and including a holding portion capable of being held from outside the housing.
