Sports field marking system
A sports field marking system that is operable to measure and provide the location required on a field where a football must be advanced to in order to achieve a first down during play of a conventional football game. The sports field marking system includes a first down marker pole placed on a sideline of a football field with a second first down marker pole being placed in axial alignment with the first down marker pole on the opposing sideline. The first down marker pole and second down marker pole include laser emitters operable to project a visible light beam across the surface of the field of play. A down display marker pole is provided and is placed in axial alignment with the first down marker pole on the same sideline. A first laser rangefinder and a second laser rangefinder are mounted to the down display marker pole.
Ring for a fighting sport
A ring for a fighting sport has a circular fighting area defined by a plurality of circular fence rings that are held up by posts. Shock absorbers connect the fence rings to the posts. Position markers are provided to indicate the starting positions of the participating fighters at certain points during the bout.
Net boundary indicator
A net boundary indicator can comprise a strap comprising an inside surface and an outside surface opposite the inside surface. A reinforcing member can comprise a top end and a bottom end, the reinforcing member being attached along a length of the inside surface of the strap. A top clip can be coupled to the strap adjacent the top end of the reinforcing member. A bottom clip can be coupled to the strap adjacent the bottom end of the reinforcing member. A first sleeve can be attached along a length of a surface of the strap. An aligning device can be coupled to the surface of the strap below the first sleeve and in-line with the first sleeve, and a bubble level can be coupled to the strap.
Baseball Diamond Layout
An apparatus for a baseball diamond layout is provided. The apparatus includes a pentagonal home plate having a first side edge, a second side edge, and a front edge. The home plate includes a measuring tapes disposed on each of the first side edge, the second side edge, and the front edge. A first base, a second base, a third base, and a rubber are operationally connected to the measuring tapes on the home plate. The measuring tape located on the front edge includes an indicator associated with a predetermined placement of the pitching rubber when the measuring tape is extended between the home plate and the second base. The measuring tape located on the first side edge and the second side edge include an indicator associated with a predetermined placement of the first base and the third base when the measuring tape is extended from the home plate.
Baseball Diamond Layout
An apparatus for a baseball diamond layout is provided. The apparatus includes a pentagonal home plate having a first side edge, a second side edge, and a front edge. The home plate includes a measuring tapes disposed on each of the first side edge, the second side edge, and the front edge. A first base, a second base, a third base, and a rubber are operationally connected to the measuring tapes on the home plate. The measuring tape located on the front edge includes an indicator associated with a predetermined placement of the pitching rubber when the measuring tape is extended between the home plate and the second base. The measuring tape located on the first side edge and the second side edge include an indicator associated with a predetermined placement of the first base and the third base when the measuring tape is extended from the home plate.
Free-standing tennis court partition
A method of blocking tennis balls from one tennis court at a tennis facility from entering an adjacent tennis court. The method includes providing a vertical frame defining a front and a back, installing a removable panel on the frame, the vertical frame and the removable panel defining a temporary, removable, portable partition, temporarily placing the partition between a first tennis court and a second court at a tennis facility, the first and second tennis courts being adjacent to each other, via the partition, blocking a tennis ball played on the first tennis court from entering the second tennis court, and after play has concluded on the first tennis court, removing the partition from between the first and second tennis courts. The partition includes a hollow base having a fill port to receive water, sand, or another pourable, fungible substance for weighting the base and partition down.
Free-standing tennis court partition
A method of blocking tennis balls from one tennis court at a tennis facility from entering an adjacent tennis court. The method includes providing a vertical frame defining a front and a back, installing a removable panel on the frame, the vertical frame and the removable panel defining a temporary, removable, portable partition, temporarily placing the partition between a first tennis court and a second court at a tennis facility, the first and second tennis courts being adjacent to each other, via the partition, blocking a tennis ball played on the first tennis court from entering the second tennis court, and after play has concluded on the first tennis court, removing the partition from between the first and second tennis courts. The partition includes a hollow base having a fill port to receive water, sand, or another pourable, fungible substance for weighting the base and partition down.
COURT MARKING SWITCHING SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a court marking switching system, including: singles and doubles markings, wherein the singles and doubles markings present white color when they are not lit up, and present a same color with surrounding floor when they are lit up; a switching element which lights up the singles markings and turns off the doubles markings when receiving a doubles command and lights up the doubles markings and turns off the singles markings when receiving a singles command. During the doubles match, only the singles markings are lit up, the lit singles markings present a same color with that of the surrounding floor and are not easy to be observed, while the doubles markings which are not lit up present a white color, such that only the white doubles markings may be observed by a user.
Court Line Kit
A sports line kit includes a plurality of tape lines, including longer lines that provide sidelines, medium length lines that provide baselines and kitchen lines, and shorter lines that provide service lines. Indicia are included on the tape lines for quick and convenient assembly of the sports court. Each tape line has one adhesive side and one slip-resistant side. In at least some embodiments, the kit further includes balls, paddles, rackets and/or a sports net. In at least some additional embodiments, the kit further includes a line gauge configured to measure the diagonal of a court assembled with the sports line kit.
MODULAR COURT SYSTEM
A walled boundary includes a frame, the frame comprising a base element extending horizontally; a transparent wall element mounted on the frame; and a wall support extending from the frame to the wall element. A modular court system includes a modular court; and a walled boundary adjacent to the modular court, the walled boundary comprising a first wall portion; a second wall portion adjacent to the first wall portion; and a first frame supporting the first wall portion in a vertical orientation.
