METHOD FOR MARKING ARTIFICIAL TURF MATS
A method for marking artificial turf mats that allows for the obtaining of artificial turf mats with indelible motifs on any of the surfaces of said mats, comprising positioning means for at least one mat and marking means applicable onto at least one surface of said mat, so that said marking means are capable of producing at least one motif onto the surface of said mat.
Correctional paint wand
A correctional paint wand used to mark lines on pavement, turf, concrete, and other surfaces. It has a rotatable sleeve on the lower end of an elongated handle, with the sleeve having at least two aerosol paint can holders each sized for containing one inverted paint can. At least one can applies distinguishable marking paint, and at least one can applies correctional paint visually covering erroneously applied markings, with the sleeve rotated to place the needed paint can in a dispensing position. A wheel on the lower end of the wand may aid its movement over the surface targeted for marking. The error correcting paint may be green for grass or artificial turf, brown for exposed ground, light gray or off-white for cement, and black for asphalt, or other colors appropriate to the intended application. Contemplated applications include, but are not limited to, use by landscaping designers and utility companies.
FREE KICK DISTANCE PROJECTING DEVICE
Device (1) for showing a marking (A) in the form of a distance to be observed between a game apparatus (15), in particular a football, and participants on a playing field (22) of a sports facility (2), having a display device (3) for projecting light beams (L) representing the marking (A) onto the playing field (22), wherein the projected light beams (L) display the distance to be observed and can be projected in the shape of a circle, at least in sections, in particular at a distance of 9.15 m around the game apparatus (15) on the playing field (22), wherein the display device (3) is jointly movable with a transport device (8) that is movable above the sports facility (2).
Stand-and-spray foam delivery method and device thereof
A stand-and-spray foam delivery method and device for creating a foam line on a hard surface, such as an athletic playing field, while a user is standing in an upright position. The method provides a vanishing foam formula comprising a relatively high level of surfactant in an aerosol can having an actuator device with a cylindrical actuator orifice that has a round opening and long and straight sidewalls. Actuating the device causes the formula to exit the aerosol can through the actuator orifice without agitation thus maintaining a stream of formula that does not turn to foam until it contacts a surface
Multi-can Marker Stick
A device that can hold at least two cans of spray paint or chalk, thus enabling marking with different colors using a single device. The device comprises a staff, a can holster, a grip, a trigger and a selector. The selector comprises a selector rod moveable in or alongside the staff. At one end of the selector rod is a selector knob and at the other is an engagement mechanism that engages the spray valve of each can, one can at a time. The engagement mechanism comprises a cam and a rocker arm with two opposing fingers, one to engage each spray can when selected. Optionally one or more flag holders may be attached to the staff for holding marker flags.
MARKING APPARATUS USED FOR CREATING LINES ON A SURFACE
A marking apparatus including: a plurality of connectable pieces, wherein each connectable piece includes at least one of protruding portions or recessed portions, wherein a shape of the protruding portions is substantially similar to a shape of the recessed portions, such that the protruding portions of a first connectable piece are insertable into the recessed portions of a second connectable piece to form an interlocking connection between the first and second connectable pieces.
Line marking device and method for marking a line
A line marking device (1) comprising a cart (2) with at least one steerable wheel (3) and at least two moving elements (4, 5). The steerable wheel (3) is rotatable around its axle (13) and pivotable such that the cart (2) is steered in a desired direction. The line marking device (1) comprises a GNSS receiver (7) or a robotic total station mounted on the cart (2). The line marking device (1) also comprises at least one spray nozzle (8), for marking a line, which is mounted on the cart and directed towards the ground below the line marking device (1). The device (1) comprises an interface mounted on the cart for a comparator to compare a detected location by the GNSS receiver (7) to a predetermined pattern. The cart (2) may comprise a motor (14) which is adapted to pivot the steerable wheel (3) towards an intended movement.
Method of marking a line
A method of marking a line includes providing a line marking apparatus including a body (21), a line marking head (29) movable relative to the body, and a positioning system (35, 37, 41, 43) for determining a geographical location of the line marking head. In addition, a mathematical model is provided for a line to be marked by the line marking head, the model being cumulatively updated in response to a position fix (61) obtained by the positioning system. The position of the line marking head is adjusted relative to the body in dependence upon the mathematical model.
Service vehicle and management system
A service vehicle with service equipment for performing a predetermined service operation in an operating area, the vehicle comprising positioning means to determine position information for navigating the service vehicle and/or the service equipment; monitoring means to acquire position-dependent operational data of the performing of the service operation in dependence on the position information; and reporting means to communicate the position-dependent operational data to a remote management server. The service vehicle is operable in a first mode, in which the positioning means provides the position information to the monitoring means which acquires the position-dependent operational data using the position information; the reporting means communicates the operational data to the remote management server; and the navigating is performed substantially independently of the position information.
Ring for a fighting sport
A ring for a fighting sport has a circular fighting area defined by a plurality of circular fence rings that are held up by posts. Shock absorbers connect the fence rings to the posts. Position markers are provided to indicate the starting positions of the participating fighters at certain points during the bout.
